Good
"Ruby, her dark hair swaying like a silken banner, bounded through the whimsical temple, her eyes sparkling with determination. The ancient halls were lined with cute cat stone statues, their curious expressions and playful poses adding a touch of charm to the otherwise daunting challenge. She leaped from one stone paw to another, her agile form darting through the air as she navigated the temple's tricky jumping puzzles. Just as she reached the heart of the temple, where the emerald green ruby rested on a plush, velvet cushion, a sultry voice echoed through the chamber. 'Ah, Ruby, you've made it to the very end,' cooed Spinel, the temple's ruler, her eyes shimmering with a feline allure. 'But to claim your prize, you must first best me in a game of wit and cunning. Are you ready to play, my dear kitten?'"
The Actual Review:
Yet another game from eTIRUe that is very cheaply priced. This is a light-hearted Tomb-Raider/Mario-64 themed platformer whom you play as a hot skimpy-skirt wearing main character named Ruby which pursues a green gem. All the while after pursing the green gem, you find out the temple guardian named Spinel (who is also super hot wearing a "decorative themed" outfit) challenges you and thwarts you from taking the gem. While the platforming and climbing mechanic is some of the best I've ever seen (I also generally am not good at challenging platformer type games). The very end (or at least I think it was the very end), is kinda mean and unforgiving. I never finished it due to accidentally erasing my 'continue' by starting a new game, and I don't want to go thru it again... At least not in the foreseeable future but who knows. There's also cute themed cats (which I think is from one of their first titles(?)), and the parachute you have is a giant cat head with floppy paws with strings attached, its cute. There is not a 'save' feature from what I can tell. You do have 1 continue selection but WARNING!! If you start a new game that continue WILL BE ERASED!!... You've been warned! Oh yeah, and theres also some other content and outfits to be unlocked as well, but I didn't get that far and I don't have the patience to go thru it all again for my progress to be potentially erased. Perhaps the devs could make each area cleared unlocked and selectable to continue from that point in the main menu? edit: I finished all but the dance moves endings, and let me say that last ending run is pure sadism...
Nepu's final score: 7/10 WaaaAaaAaaAaa!! MAMA MIA!! This game is very tough but if you love challenging platformers, cute cats, and hot girls, you're gonna like it!

BUY IT...if you love platformer games
nep nep

Forest Of Relics is a compact 3D platforming adventure that focuses on fluid movement, environmental challenges, and a light narrative framed around exploration and ancient mystery. Developed and published by eTIRUe, the game casts the player as Ruby, a treasure hunter drawn to the legendary Forest of Relics, a place rumored to be filled with forgotten ruins, powerful artifacts, and dangerous trials left behind by an ancient civilization. Rather than presenting a large open world or a complex story, the game narrows its focus to delivering a concise, momentum-driven experience where traversal and timing take center stage. From the start, the gameplay emphasizes motion and spatial awareness. Players spend most of their time running, jumping, climbing, and gliding through obstacle-filled ruins designed to test precision and adaptability. Each area introduces new traps, hazards, and vertical layouts that require careful observation before committing to a path. The platforming is designed to feel responsive and approachable, encouraging experimentation while still punishing careless mistakes. Success often comes from learning enemy patterns, trap timings, and the most efficient routes through each section, giving the game a satisfying rhythm as confidence and familiarity grow. A recurring presence throughout the adventure is the guardian of the ruins, a character who serves both as a narrative figure and a symbolic challenge to the player. This presence reinforces the idea that the forest itself is actively testing intruders, transforming each sequence of traps into a deliberate trial rather than a random assortment of obstacles. While the story remains minimal, this framing gives context to the gameplay and helps maintain a sense of progression as Ruby ventures deeper into the ruins in search of relics and answers. Visually, Forest Of Relics adopts a clean and colorful art style that prioritizes readability over realism. Environments are bright and clearly structured, making it easier to judge distances, spot hazards, and plan jumps in fast-paced situations. The ruins, forests, and ancient mechanisms feel distinct enough to provide visual variety despite the game’s short length. Character animations are simple but functional, supporting the game’s emphasis on movement rather than detailed cinematic presentation. The overall scope of the game is intentionally modest. A complete playthrough can be finished in a relatively short amount of time, making Forest Of Relics feel more like a focused platforming challenge than a sprawling adventure. This brevity works in its favor by preventing mechanics from overstaying their welcome, though it may leave some players wishing for additional stages or expanded content. To compensate, optional modes such as time-based challenges encourage replayability, allowing players to revisit levels and refine their performance. Audio design supports the experience without demanding attention. Background music and sound effects reinforce the sense of motion and danger but can feel repetitive over longer sessions due to the limited soundtrack. While this does not significantly detract from gameplay, it reinforces the idea that the game is best enjoyed in shorter bursts rather than extended play sessions. Forest Of Relics also includes content that may influence player expectations, as certain visual elements and character designs lean toward stylized presentation that some may interpret as suggestive. These aspects are not central to the gameplay or narrative but are present enough to shape the game’s overall identity. As such, the experience is best approached with an understanding of its intended tone and audience. Ultimately, Forest Of Relics succeeds by delivering a straightforward and enjoyable platforming experience built around solid movement mechanics and compact level design. It does not attempt to reinvent the genre or offer deep narrative complexity, but instead focuses on providing a polished, accessible challenge that rewards timing, awareness, and practice. For players looking for a short, energetic platformer with light adventure elements and replay value through mastery, Forest Of Relics offers a satisfying journey through a mysterious and trap-filled world. Rating: 6/10
