Forest Adventure

这游戏目前BUG奇多，比如有时机关无法互动，有些机关触发过重开后无法再次正常触发，诸多恶性BUG导致卡关十分影响游戏体验，望尽快修复。

I actually feel sorry for giving a bad review – I liked the idea and the gameplay was unpolished, but fun – however, in this state, for this price (4.99€ in Germany) I cannot recommend it. First, it's called "Forest Adventure", but the maps are mostly empty; all you can see are rocks, grass, some flowerbeds and a few trees. The levels with the ruins are more populated, but still, not in a foresty way. In general the game needs a lot more decoration, and I'm talking about simple objects, like some rocks, more bushes, maybe more flower variety and actual clumps of trees. It would still be a bland game, but better than this. (Also, the character models differ widely in style, however this was obvious from the screenshots, so I'll leave it at that.) Second, the game has too many bugs for its little length (~1 hour). A function was implemented that saves automatically before every level and if you die, you restart from that level. Plus, some puzzle switches remain active even after death or restarting the game, so you are not forced to redo the whole level. While convenient, it would not have been necessary, and later, in the third-to-last level, this actually turned into a bug that almost forced me to restart the whole game. One puzzle switch remained active after death, but the function it was supposed to fulfill (filling a second water basin) had been reset. I needed the water there to activate two crystals, and by design, the second crystal was too far away to be reached from the first water basin. Reloading and even restarting the game did not reset the puzzle. Activated switches remained active. In the end I barely managed to reach the crystal from the first basin by carefully planning my starting position, route, and hopping half the way, which seemed to give me the millisecond boost I needed. Still, I'm not sure others would have had the patience. So far, it looks and feels like a first attempt at a game, and while it's better than some others I've seen, it definitely needed more time in the oven. I would not say that I wasted my time, but it did feel like I wasted my money.
