Good stuff. It was more realistically darker than I expected
A short but thoughtful story told through the use of point-and-click adventure game mechanics and some fairly light, accessible puzzle-solving. There's a little bit of the requisite adventure game "find an object you can trade for another object which you use to get yet another object" back-tracking, but even as someone who's not great at puzzle-solving in these types of games, there was nothing here that I couldn't figure out myself without looking it up. The real point of the puzzle-solving here is establish a tense, unsettling atmosphere and to provide moments of characterisation which are cleverly and subtly integrated into the gameplay. There's an ambiguity to the story which felt intentional and meaningful, and overall I just found this to be a really interesting and well-constructed short experience.
i'm confused and that makes me ANGRY
9/10
A creepy little game you can beat in 1-2 hours. Football Game is the perfect sort of experience for horror game fans who prefer spooky vibes over cheap jump scares and excessive gore (this game has heaps of the former and none of the latter two). However, if you're the sort of gamer who likes to have all loose ends wrapped up neatly and/or who doesn't like ambiguous endings, the game's somewhat abrupt ending might frustrate you a bit. Still, for the price point, Football Game is hard to beat. I'd personally recommend playing it alongside another of Cloak and Dagger Games' titles, 'A Date in the Park,' (which is free to download and play) for a fun little "spooky afternoon double feature" (both games are quite short, but they're also both worth playing in my opinion).
Weird little game. I liked it.
Great ambiance and clearly a labor of love, but tedious to play and not much payoff. Since it's linear, maybe watch a letsplay?
Petit jeu pas longuet mais plutôt sympa, même si c'est très old school et que vous êtes obligé de faire des aller-retours encore et encore. La musique a la fin est très cool aussi.
una aventura grafica corta lo recomiendo
Short, but good!
