Chudo-Yudo Games development team and publisher Targem Games were inspired by such “roguelikes” as Hades, Curse of the Dead Gods, Binding of Isaac, Dead Cells, and Risk of Rain. We took the best, added our own ideas and got a game that will appeal to beginners and experienced players of the Rogue-lite genre alike.

Fun mechanically, but meta progression is slow and not very impactful. You will largely be relying on your own ability to "get good" and luck. I haven't made it past the first room in the second area due to the extreme difficulty spike.
The game is a bit 1-note. The runs feel the same, the classes take a long time to unlock. The difficulty is very inconsistent--running around in the levels fighting mobs is easy, then some bosses are quite hard. The exploration is tedious as you run into the same small handful of events and loot over and over. You can't transition between map areas unless you come to a specific spot in the screen, dragging travel time out way too much. There's about 10 hours of fun here, nothing inspiring.
Having only gotten to the Baba Yaga by this point in gameplay, this game features a very healthy difficulty. Each death feels like it has meaning, since you have to start each run over when you die. The combat feels very fluid, and each class has its own advantages and disadvantages. I dont find myself doing well with the knight, but the Recruit class seems to be a perfect balance for me at this point. Perhaps we could have Steam Workshop implemented for folks who want more content?
I don’t leave very many reviews, but I’m definitely going to start so these devs can see some more love. This is game is pretty awesome. I’m a sucker for pixel art games just like this one. I haven’t made it past the 3rd stage ‘s boss yet, but man oh man, I’ve gotten enough deaths to show my love for the game 😂 I bounce around games quite a bit but this game has had me come back quite a few times when I feel like fighting for my life against a large bear 😅 once you play you’ll understand what I mean about the bear. If you like pixel art action rogue lites, this game is for you!
Baba Yaga you monster! Leave me and my people alone!

Wow, what a cool game. I got it in a bundle, but it's better than you'd think. It takes me back to the good old DOS days ;) - it brings back memories deep within me with the game "Horde". Btw: it's fun to explore the individual characters and learn the techniques for controlling the “heroes”. Above all, this is also a special feature in multiplayer mode. The graphics are very unique, and the sounds remind me of something—but in a good way—and the music is just great - . Considering that the game is almost unnoticeable. I'd love to see more games like this—you've done a very good job. PS: I already have the songs in my head. But the title track rocks a lot — it sounds like you used the good old OPL2 FM chip. Thank you.
Great game with game-breaking bugs. You try to finish a level in coop and all of a sudden you can't see your chars anymore, because the positions of the chars don't align with the screen anymore. So you're basically walking blind and quitting means losing all the progress of the run. Do I want to play such a game? Nope. Fix this thing! This is a refund reason. Reply to the reply: It has happened in 2-player local coop on a Windows 11 PC a few times now such that we don't want to play the game anymore since a run can be pretty long and if progress isn't saved on those occasions, it's just frustrating. We played in the combination of archer (player 1) and the guy with the knives (player 2). I think this latter one was called rogue.
