The only negative thing I can say about this game is that there isn't enough of it. It is an absolute diamond that the developer created, and it's criminal that it's only about 4 hours or so for a playthrough. Combat is a bit slow and "clunky" people would say, but I love it. I like the slow pace and how the feedback on when hitting with a weapon feels. Story is perfect for a bunch of bugs battling. Not too serious, but serious enough. It's silly and I love it. Visuals are awesome if you enjoy low-poly stuff. Animations are obviously inspired by RuneScape, and if you don't want that choppy feel you can change it in the settings. Personally, I kept them. There are basically 3 stages in this game. They're all large areas that loop back on themselves and create shortcuts throughout. Very well thought out, had a great time exploring. The fishing mini-game is basic, seems like the dev was experimenting with things. +1 for experimenting. You don't have to interact with it at all, but doing so you get neat little consumables. Weapon variety is just right. Not too little to feel bored, but not too many leaving you overwhelmed. They all play differently from one another and different enemies are weak to different attack types, keeping things fresh often. Multiplayer works just fine, played through the whole game with a friend of mine and we had no issues. If you like first-person dungeon crawling a-la king's field, lunacid, or others of that vein, you'll enjoy this. It's a fine dessert tailored to be exactly what it is, and it does so perfectly. It leaves me yearning for more. But the dev is planning on releasing a NG+ mode that isn't just a difficulty ramp, rather changing enemy positions, adding new enemies, and creating variants of enemies. It's going to be more of a "second quest" as opposed to a NG+ honestly. It's cheap as hell and amazing. Just get it and play it.
i love the game, wish it had more campaign
Good game, bit short very fun with freinds
Very fun, and honestly cool character design and world. Hope to see more!
En nombre de la mesa redonda de los Moscabaliers, hemos llegado a la conclucion que esta experiencia audiovisual debe ser de agrado a todo publico neurodivergente. Sin nada mas que agregar, totalmente recomendado.
fun
Peak Gaming Experience. 10/10
From what I've seen of King's Field, this kind of feels like King's Field (specifically the 4th).
It's an adventure
Buy this for you and your friend it's a very fun and short little game. Combat is fun and interesting. I argue it shares a lot more similarities with the old elder scrolls game then any of the souls games even though it seems to wear the souls like on it's sleave though I wouldn't say it is a souls like.
