Flutter Away

Tentative recommend. An enjoyable game for an hour or two, but only for a sale price. It's super cute and I did like it but there's also a lot to be desired, from the controls, to the nearly complete lack of settings, to the lack of gameplay. It's incredibly short, and for what it is I can't recommend buying it at full price. It took me [i] maybe [/i] an hour to get through the game, and all the other time was spent just trying to get the achievements (and get them to simply [b] work [/b]). There's not much replayability unless you want to sit there with the butterflies, so it's basically just a short, expensive one-and-done.

Very cute experience. Got through the 'story' in under an hour, but I also got it on sale so I'm okay with that price-per-playtime. You wander around a tiny section of rainforest and take pictures of things (mostly butterflies). If you're looking for a cozy casual way to kill time and look at pretty butterflies, it's a good atmosphere to chill in for a bit.

I love the cute vibe of the game and the general actions of the game. I was so exited when it came out. It can be tricky, but I love it.

wow. im blown away. if you like short story games that is lgbtq+, capybaras, butterflies, and MORE? than this is the game for you. as someone who loves insects, this game was such a joy for me to find and it truly met my expectations and more. just like the ending in the story, it was bittersweet to finish the game; it's so well made and has a lovely story. 10/10

Clunky, childish, and limited. You photograph butterflies and then you have to return to the journal and click on it to see diary text. Maybe if you were in first grade, learning to use your mouse, this would be okay.

Fun little game. Only took a couple of hours to get everything. I loved finding all the different butterflies, taking pictures, and the story.
