Free and steam deck verified! Great for killing a minute or two at a time whilst out and about. I recommend this - beware that it is really hard though haha

Honestly, it is the most like Flappy Bird was, if you had the chance to play it back when. It has the same precision and addicting game play the original had. The best of the imitations by a wide margin. My only complaint is that I wish the souls reset instead of build over time. Much like my score, I want to see my best and try to beat it. Still. Will keep flappin'. _____ UPDATE: Okay, holy flap. They re-hauled the entire game. I was already satisfied finding a legitimate replacement for Flappy Birds. I honestly didn't care much for the collecting souls, or whatever. I felt that it wasn't really a motivator and I didn't like that they just kept stacking instead of showing me my current flap. It was odd. That ♥♥♥♥ is gone, dog. Now there are TWO difficulty modes. Normal (Slower; Blue palette); Hard (-er, Better, Faster, Stronger; Red palette). And instead of collecting souls, you collect SWORDS, MY GUY. YOU'RE FLAPPIN' FOR SWORDS. And it comes with a databank so you can see which swords you've collected. There are 240 total. That's a lot of swashbucklin' for one bird, man. I tell you what. Overall, it's just better. It feels better. It looks better. It plays better. Ten quacks out of ten for me.
7/10 Flappy Souls is a Soulsborne inspired version of Flappy Bird, of which there is collectible swords and 2 difficulty settings, normal and hard. The Soulsborne game in particular that it seems to be inspired by is Dark Souls 3, due to the appearance of the sun in the background having resemblance. It's a simple but neat game, there are a few changes I think could be made (such as removal of normal difficulty since no difficulty option in Soulsborne games, also naming the swords in-game) but overall it's one of the better Flappy Bird based games.
