This was legitimately so much fun! Really enjoyed beathing the everliving snot out of those pesky security guards! :D
honestly a lot of fun for a compact lil game, the mechanics feel well balanced and Santa's jaunty run cracks me up would love to see a 'friends' leaderboard added
Kurzes Feedback. Macht weiter so. Vielen Dank

a challenging game and hard to master without leaving the funny part on each run.
Cool game
I love it, the anxiety of having 3 or more items and being spotted by security is something to look forward to. However I think this game would be more enjoyable if there was a multiplayer option! 4.5/5
Hilarious! A compact, well-crafted fun mini-game for Christmas. Literally made me laugh a few times, and the idea of Santa having to steal presents killed me
really good and simple game even though it has just been released
Good, fun and simple game.
Warning: Asset Flip! "Five Minutes Till Christmas" is one of literally thousands of creatively bankrupt asset flips infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere.
The developer stole the Simple Shop Interiors game asset pack from Synty Studios, plus a few more Synty assets, stuck them in a blender, and put his own name on it to try convince you he's actually Synty or something. Plagiarism is wrong. There's a minor attempt to make a game out of someone else's assets and engine here, a basic third person action game blueprint was used to create a minigame where you run a Santa asset on a shoplifting spree through Synty's shopping mall assets. This is creatively bankrupt to the core. So, "Five Minutes Till Christmas" is partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Little, if anything in this game is the creation of the "developer". While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "Five Minutes Till Christmas", and this kind of asset flipping never results in games that have quality or value for PC gamers. The technical execution of this game is shallow and simplistic, just enough to tick the boxes required to get something (anything) published on Steam, rather than investing the huge amount of effort and budget needed to create a fully fledged, comprehensive, high quality product. This feels like a tech demo more than a full game. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 11 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. It's important to note that, despite this being such a low quality product, there's a number of positive reviews that all appeared immediately after the game launched, from suspiciously inactive Steam accounts that have reviewed almost no other games apart from this. Take the review score of this game with a grain of salt. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Definitely not. This isn't worth it. I'm paraphrasing another reviewer here, but this should be a paid product... they'd have to pay people to download it.
