cool idea: stop nerfing maps every update to make the grind worse and make progression impossible without buying dlc or premium stop removing stuff that make the game fun like max drag and kayak being pulled by fish so far they nerfed blue crab island dnipro river and marron river (they nerfed marron river today after the back to basics update)
The game seems nice, and the fishing stuff looks interesting, but I got pushed away by the main menus that look very confusing to me, as well as the very lackluster character customisation. But the main reason I disliked the game was how it constantly kept giving me a pop-up to buy stuff after going into and out of a fishing session. If I say no to a pop-up about buying something, stop opening it another 10 times in less than 5 minutes.

the most dynamics in a fishing game and could use more. I love the reworked lonestar island. Returning players would be thrilled at the new catching system. This game gets is very fun and worth the 5 dollars for 100 bait coins to get permanent licenses on 3-4 lakes. QUIT harassing me microtransactions. If i like your game, i will seek them and make purchases. It is too predatory to keep raping my face with them and not use a condom for your smelly fish chum ejaculations.
The game is prob the best fishing game we got for now after call of the angler flopped tbh (sadly), BUT, the monetization was always pretty much forced by making leveling a nightmare at high levels, for skipping days, etc but what really pushed me over the limit is finally getting to the saltwater maps and realizing without spending CAD$ 85 on a cometic DLC im literally not even allowed to keep any of the new large fish uniques at all. they limited the keeping capacity of the free boat in the game so that the maximum is just under the weight of the large fish unis so its impossible to keep even 1 fish unless i spend the price of a AAA full game on a boat cosmetic DLC to allow large fish to be netted. thats just gross and annoying tbh and not everyone has the luxury of being able to spend CAD $85 on pixels in a game to literally be allowed to access basic functions of the game. and ive seen many reddit posts about this issue as far as 1 year ago so its not a recent or new issue theyve been fully aware for a long time and they still decide to lock the basic features behind paywalls. dont call your game a free to play game if its monetized top to bottom to force players to pay to be able to play and access the basics. free game is something like dota, fortnite, etc all big free games that the money is only spent on cosmetics and when done properly people pay it and dont even complaint because they have a choice and guess what they are way more successful and profitable games.
quite fun, can sometimes take a while to catch something so is realistic. There could be more guidance on the different fishing techniques.
Started fishing irl the couple weeks ago so downloaded this game, caught carp in the game..... my nan was so shocked she hit a backflip at the top off the stairs, fell down after landing it. she's now been in the hospital for 3 weeks recovering...... Thanks Steam
Very high quality, insane graphics, super realistic fishing mechanics and everything is near real life.
Good game, wish it wasnt behind a paywall for when it comes to certain gears and wasnt so hard to level up
This game is very well made and a fun fishing sim, but... I downloaded to play with my friends and its almost impossible even though they advertise co op. It says multiplayer is unlocked at level 5 but actually it just says that to make u play to level 5. You then find out you need to be level 85 minimum (both players) to play co op. OR you can spend a THOUSAND dollars to unlock off the bat. Seriously? $1,000? this pissed me off and I'm deleting the game. If they would just make multiplayer free off the bat this game would do numbers and be so much fun and I would definitely end up buying stuff for it, but a literal $1,000 dollars is ridiculous. I hope a developer sees this and realizes how insane it is. Do not download if you want any type of multiplayer experience.
Good fishing. The game company is greedy. To go fishing on a boat with your friends, you both have to pay 20$ and it only lasts for 7 days. The boat you can rent with in game money doesn't have working depth finder. if you want one that does its 60$. If you want everything on here you will be paying 20,000$. The good rods cost hundreds. With how long it takes to level up it would be years of dedication to get to the ocean for free. Boat problems. To get a boat with a rod holder, pay 20$ or more. Depending on the boat depends on what rods you can put in rod holders. (Can place casting rod but not bottom rods) vice versa. So you cant multipurpose the boats you pay for. Cant take friends on your fresh water boats. You are limited to what boats you can take where. Final... No fun unless you have a few hundred to through into a fishing game. Tips. When you pay for the ocean grind it until you get to the level to get back for free.
