Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Not one for completionists. At least one recipe is bugged and cannot be made, and so the game cannot be completed. The developer refuses to fix this recipe as it takes too much time. An otherwise great game, relaxing, fun story and characters. It's just a shame that the developer does not value the players enough to provide a full game. Surprising, given the general positivity and helpfulness that the gameplay demonstrates. Knick would have fixed the bug.

This game had the potential but the progression is very slow and gameplay is not always fun. For example, you cannot really interact with the map, which limits the feeling of exploration. There are some interesting characters and events but there are also many dialogue repetitions. You have a very limited storage and backpack space and in order to increase them, you need materials for upgrade, which requires storage and backpack space to be accumulated. Overall, I think this game need some gameplay-wise adjustments.
Nice game so far. Has alot of memorable characters and the gameplay is chill. Perfect to play while watching something.
Fireside is a gentle, emotionally grounded adventure that prioritizes human connection over danger, combat, or dramatic conflict. Developed by Emergo Entertainment and published by Nordcurrent Labs, it begins with a shipwreck that leaves the protagonist stranded in an unfamiliar land, but instead of treating this as a tale of desperation, the game reframes it as an opportunity for discovery, community, and healing. The world is populated by other wanderers—some cheerful, some uncertain, some carrying quiet burdens—and the player’s role is not to conquer or defeat anything, but to listen, trade, help, and build relationships. Fireside belongs to a growing group of games built around kindness rather than struggle, and it commits fully to that philosophy. The gameplay loop revolves around travel, campfire conversations, resource gathering, and trading. As you explore the wilderness, you encounter fellow travelers looking for specific items, and through thoughtful exchanges you build goodwill, unlock new dialogue, and slowly learn their histories. Trading isn’t treated as a simple transactional system—it functions like a trust exercise, a way of understanding values and finding mutual benefit. Items aren’t inherently exciting on their own but gain meaning through the people they help. Between journeys, you return to your home camp to rest, reflect, and upgrade your dwelling, gradually transforming your starting space into a nurturing refuge. There is a quiet rhythm to the progression: venture outward, meet someone new, brighten their world, and return to your fire with a bit more understanding than before. A subtle time structure prevents the game from drifting aimlessly. Each expedition can only last a limited number of days before you must return home, forcing gentle prioritization. This mechanic introduces just enough structure to keep momentum without creating urgency or stress. You don’t rush because the world isn’t hostile, but you do consider how far to travel, who to visit, and what resources to carry. The loop becomes meditative—packing food, planning a route, seeking out someone you promised to help earlier. The simplicity of the systems invites reflection rather than optimization, making the experience approachable and emotionally accessible to a broad range of players. Fireside’s presentation amplifies its comforting tone. The art style resembles a watercolor storybook, with soft lines, warm palettes, and environments that feel handcrafted rather than procedurally assembled. Characters are designed with personality and visual charm, each immediately recognizable and memorable. Sound design completes the atmosphere: gentle acoustic melodies, nighttime chirps, crackling firewood, and ambient wind reinforce the sense of safety and stillness. Even when exploring unfamiliar territory, the world feels welcoming rather than threatening. The audiovisual direction encourages players to slow down, breathe, and appreciate what surrounds them—a stark contrast to games built around constant stimulation. The heart of the experience lies in its characters. Fireside’s cast speaks with sincerity rather than dramatic flourish, sharing fears, hopes, regrets, and small joys. Conversations often feel like snippets from real-life encounters—people who reveal themselves one detail at a time, who don’t always know what they want, who express gratitude in unexpected ways. Helping someone isn’t rewarded with flashy fanfare or extravagant upgrades—just a sense of meaningful human acknowledgment. The writing avoids cynicism, instead depicting a world where compassion has weight and where tiny acts of generosity ripple outward. It’s rare for a game to make the player feel not like a hero, but a participant in a shared journey. Like many cozy narrative-driven games, Fireside risks becoming repetitive over long stretches. The travel structure, trading system, and conversational interactions don’t evolve dramatically, and once you’ve upgraded your home and met most characters, the sense of discovery softens. Players seeking mechanical complexity, branching storylines, or long-term challenge may find the experience too light. But repetition here isn’t necessarily a flaw—it mirrors the comforting familiarity of returning to a favorite campsite, cooking a familiar recipe, or spending another evening with friends. Fireside is built to soothe rather than stimulate, and that clarity of design helps it remain cohesive and intentional. In the end, Fireside is a celebration of gentleness in a medium often defined by conflict. It invites players to wander without fear, give without expectation, and connect without judgment. Its mechanics are modest, its stakes low, and its pacing slow, but those qualities allow its emotional core to flourish. It is a game for evenings when you want to exhale, for players who crave warmth more than spectacle, and for anyone who believes that kindness can be just as compelling as heroism. Fireside’s world doesn’t ask you to save it—only to be present within it—and that alone makes the journey worthwhile. Rating: 8/10
