This is, as clear as possibly can be, a blackjack clone of Cloverpit. Even the "tokens" that you get for completing rounds say "tickets" when you hover over to collect them. Of course, I _was_ looking for a blackjack version of Cloverpit. I just expected it to be similarly enjoyable. This game has typos and a clear lack of polish (and whatever, neither of these are game-breaking). What is game-breaking to me is just how much of your time this game will waste with little jump-scares or dialogue that cannot be skipped. They're gory in a way that doesn't make sense to the little bit of story there is to this game. The debts are tuned quite high, and token payouts low (and with unclear criteria). Because of this, the odds of blackjack are stacked against you even more than the typical house edge, you just don't know to what extent. Instead of making it a fun twist on blackjack, it seems the only real purpose is to confuse you. It's not clear what the different cursed cards are (that can be) in the deck, nor what exactly they do--I'd consider that fine and good if there was some sort of index or notes about them as they're revealed to you... but there's not, as far as I can tell. Overall, it makes the gameplay feel purely luck-based and unsatisfying. This game does not have a native windowed mode. You can break it out into a window with alt + enter, but you cannot resize it. The settings menu lacks polish between this and having to use your keyboard to switch between the sections before you can actually interact with them, despite them all being in a static spot on the screen.

Great for when CloverPit feels a little too polished and fun for the mood.

To be honest, it's eerily similar to Cloverpit. It's quite fun but you can get tired from all the loop the game has. If it were gone with the route Cloverpit did, it would've been a 10/10. But due to constantly keeping you stuck in the cutscene loops & that tutorial query. I'll give it a solid 7/10. Great game, Great mechanics but the game definitely has flaws that'll sooner or later will become tiresome. Get the game at a discounted price.

I can see the potential here, and there are some genuinely creepy moments that show this game could become something special. The atmosphere works at times, and the foundation is definitely there. However, right now it feels held back by too many issues. The bugs were hard to ignore, and the repeated cutscenes quickly became frustrating instead of adding to the experience. I also think the game would benefit from carving out more of its own identity. The inspiration is clear, but it would be much stronger if it leaned further into what makes it unique. Overall, this feels like a promising start, but it still needs polish and refinement before it can really stand out. I hope future updates improve the technical issues and build on the parts that already work well.

One of the best surprises lately. It’s easy to pick up but very hard to stop playing. Great presentation and super solid mechanics. 10/10!
