If you're a fan of old school wrestling, this is the game that you should be into. Once you have put in the time to master it, there's nothing like hearing the referee hit the three count after you have mounted a devastating comeback. The back and forth of the matches, the unexpected reversals. the strategic wearing down of your opponent...every aspect is a love letter to the truest form of the sport. This is as good as it gets when it comes to wrestling games. The old school graphics give it an arcade feel, but this is no button masher...you have to have a quick wit to come out on top. It never gets old.

I don't get why this game has so many positive reviews. Purchased and realised that the grappling system was too difficult. Shame, as I wanted a wrestling game to play :(

FR/EN Tout simplement LE meilleur jeu de catch disponible sur PC (hors émulations ou simulations comme TEW ou PWS). J’ai passé des centaines d’heures sur la version PS4 avant de le racheter sur PC. Points positifs : - Gameplay arcade fun et facile à prendre en main - Beaucoup de types de matchs (y compris des matchs rares dans les jeux actuels comme les Deathmatches) - Roster de 2016-2018 de la NJPW et Stardom, plus un roster de catcheurs originaux - Mode carrière pour la division Heavyweight et la division Junior - Mode General Manager (je n’y ai pas beaucoup joué) - Personnalisation très profonde et détaillée (catcheurs, entrées, rings, movesets, etc.) - Workshop Steam avec une communauté active et passionnée - Multijoueur local ou en ligne - Possibilité d’intégrer ses propres musiques Points négatifs : - Pas de traduction FR (pas un problème pour moi, mais ça peut en rebuter certains) - Roster NJPW et Stardom daté - Beaucoup de fonctionnalités manquantes dans le jeu de base (bloquées derrière des DLC) - Beaucoup moins fun sans les DLC - Modes carrières trop courts - Interface moche, datée et peu agréable - La musique du menu est toujours la même et devient vite irritante ----------------------- En bref, si vous lisez ces lignes, c’est que vous êtes fan de catch (et probablement de NJPW), donc je vous recommande Fire Pro Wrestling avec ses DLC (en promo) les yeux fermés ! ----------------------- Simply THE best wrestling game available on PC (excluding emulators or sims like TEW or PWS). Pros: - Fun arcade gameplay that’s easy to pick up - Huge variety of match types (including rare ones like Deathmatches) - 2016-2018 NJPW and Stardom roster plus original wrestlers - Career mode for Heavyweight and Junior divisions - General Manager mode (I didn’t play it much) - Extremely deep and detailed customization (wrestlers, entrances, rings, movesets, etc.) - Active and passionate Steam Workshop community - Local and online multiplayer - Ability to add your own music Cons: - NJPW and Stardom roster is dated - Many features locked behind DLCs - Much less fun without the DLCs - Career modes are too short - Ugly, dated and unpleasant interface - Menu music is always the same and gets irritating fast ---------------- In short, if you’re reading this, you’re probably a big wrestling fan (and maybe NJPW), so I highly recommend Fire Pro Wrestling with its DLCs (on sale) without hesitation! ----------------
