Fun "boss rush" shmup with great pixel artwork. It's fun, colorful, cheeky, memorable. The game has a striking and unique personality. I was glad to see a gallery mode because i was expecting to see more of the amazing pixel artwork. However, a bunch of it is generic and rather badly drawned "anime" style images... Images that could easily be in any generic low quality game like "Deep Space Waifu". I don't mean to hate here. Sometimes less is more and in this case, I believe, less was definitely better. The pixel artwork is some of the best I've seen on steam in a long time.

[b]TL;DR[/b] + Artwork is stylistically unique, appropriately cute + Music is boppin', a real treat + Gameplay controls well, nothing absurdly weird + Gameplay rewards doing well and encourages replaying to see how many bosses you can beat back-to-back + Being able to customize your finger/upgrades is a nice touch! - A little short for a $5 title ----------------------------------------- [h1]--- Overview ---[/h1] Didn't your mom ever teach you it's not nice to point at someone? Well, she was wrong! As it turns out, when in a world where giant big-breasted pixelized anime girls can start trying to invade the planet, pointing is about the best thing you can do! [h1]--- First Impressions ---[/h1] What a strange romp this game is. I can't tell what to think about the art style, it's got that weird Japanese aesthetic that is iconic among a lot of shoot-em-ups, mixed with that strange older risque style that I feel like I would have seen in some sort of Newgrounds parody video. [h1]--- Character Design ---[/h1] I have no idea what to think about the character designs. They're all so unique looking and stand out from each other for sure. They're crude drawings of characters where the naughty bits are typically covered in some form or another. The characters are cute in a minimalistic sort of way. They're all really uniquely designed and there is a quaint charm to their looks. [h1]--- The LEWDS ---[/h1] In the levels themselves, destroying weak zones of a boss typically tends to make them less and less clothed, although breaking off their clothing entirely tends to have them be censored to some degree. After defeating certain bosses, you will unlock gallery art, both of their in-game models and a more refined and modern model inspired by their in-game counterpart. I can't say any of them are terribly erotic by any means and I certainly don't think it's something that you'll get your rocks off to without some real dedication, but they're not bad looking, either. [h1]--- Gameplay Overview ---[/h1] The gameplay is surprisingly challenging to me. The bosses tend to have gimmicks to follow or safe zones, but it can be hard to exploit them on your first run through. The game rewards you for beating as many bosses in a row as you can whether it be with additional lives or extra firepower, but losing repeatedly can reward you with the ability to get hit one more time without losing, essentially a fourth life. It is a little disheartening when you get close to defeating a boss with maximum powerups, die, and then you just have a slow attack instead, but the levels are short enough that it really doesn't matter too much. All said and done, unless you're doing multiple playthroughs of the game, you can beat it in under an hour. The 14 levels are nothing more than boss rush segments with some gimmicks. Otherwise, the gameplay controls well, I feel like hits made sense, and most of the on-screen warnings about incoming attacks were sufficient at giving you an idea of what to expect. [h1]--- Final Thoughts ---[/h1] I'd call this game more "dirty" than "lewd." It's more of a raunchy shoot-em-up than any sort of pornographic game. I do think it's worth a grab if it goes on sale, just... don't go into it expecting to be able to rub one out. It's not for that.
