Wow, I can truly say I was entertained playing this! A basic amount of adventure and action mechanics are all you need sometimes. The plot made sense, the collectables/achievements were hidden well enough, I like the crossbow as a weapon and I enjoyed shooting werewolves. Another well received experimental game.
Super Werwolf-Shooter-Entertainment
Great game. A bit different from the other walking sims. It was a pleasure to play the game. Thank you, Tonguc Bodur.
Finding the Soul Orb Positives: + Many levels have beautiful nature and landscapes + Many parts have great graphics + Nice sound and music + Tries to do something new with a crossbow and werewolves + The puzzles + No footstep sounds when walking + There are more achievements in this game + Longer than other titles from TB Negatives: - A few levels have bad design and graphics (especially some caves) - Some parts are quite boring and uninteresting - The story is too slow and gets repetitive and uninteresting after a little while - No voiceover on the story - The werewolves act quite ridiculous with bad AI - Footstep sounds when running - Low FOV - Very slow walking speed Total Score: 7/10
I wasn't expecting this to have some first person shooter elements. It was ok, I was able to beat this game in my first playthrough without dying in the hardest difficulty because it's really easy. I fell happy for the developer trying to make more than walking simulators.
I went through 6 levels out of a visible 8 but there is another page of levels I didn't view so likely 10-16 levels total. This is att best a proof of concept, an alpha to be generous. The werewolves are furries, the crossbow isn't fun to use, the scenery isn't pretty because it's generic and painted on so to speak. It can be pretty, but it is so cheap that it feels like calling a gas station hot dog "gourmet". This would be a good game for walking sim sluts or someone who has never played a game before and don't know better. If you can't get into it within the 2 hour return window, then return it because it doesn't get better.
Not bad! Nice scenery and music. A bit of a grind with the action elements, but the game wasn't too long overall. Love the ginormous landscape design characters!
I couldn't make it far into this as the story just isn't interesting at all for me. The writing for it is just awful in my opinion. I have played a few walking simulators before, so I do enjoy the occasional relaxed pace of games like this but only if the story is good.
+ some scenery and landscapes are amazing, bordering on breathtaking, worthy of stunning screenshots - "action" sequences are anxiety inducing and totally unnecessary in otherwise chill gameplay - story fell flat when one knight "high fived" someone while in a fantasy setting... (yeah)
