Reviews
This hide&seek / social-deduction game looks perfect on paper! So many cool add-ons and powerups and it has more and better game modes than the other big competitors here (like: Ambush, Unspottable, Hidden in plain sight). So naturally I should Love that game just like the others ... BUT ... We were a group of 4 people and had four x360 gamepads (xinput; steaminput disabled) connected and in the very first screen where all people need to run to the "Ready" square, I got killed -> Why thats an issue? Because suddenly my gamepad was no longer assigned to my character and I was unable to move my character after I respawned ... hmm okay ... can happen I guess (1st bug) -> Restarted the game and gave it another try "but don't kill each other this time or it might bug out again". So we all just moved to the square. Cool, it worked now we can choose a game mode. We played the classic one (just find the others and kill them) -> Worked. Next game mode where one dude is playing the monster while the other people need to collect something to defeat it ... BUT ... 2 players didn't even spawn? "Okay wait, you probably just died before you found yourself, so let's try again" -> Played the mode again and waited until everyone found theirself ... BUT .... again, 2 people didn't spawn (2nd bug) -> So we made a 1v1 out of it for a quick fun round ... BUT ... the game crashed (3rd bug) -> Another restart. This time we just wanted to play it save, and picked the normal mode again ... suddenly we had ghost inputs in the menu and the nav-pointer jumped around weirdly (4th bug). Somehow we managed it either way, played 2 rounds of the normal mode with random powerups & add-ons and when round 3 started -> game crashed again. Okay ... we are out! This was just way to frustrating at this point. So I can totally see the potential and I love the overall concept. Graphics are totally fine for that type of game too. But in it's current state (as of July 2026), I consider it unplayable and therefore can not recommend it, which I think is really unfortunate :-(
