In Midgar, a city controlled by the mega-conglomerate Shinra Inc., the No. 1 Mako Reactor has been blown up by a rebel group, AVALANCHE.

N'ayant jamais réussi a dépasser le 1er réacteur mako étant trop petit a l'époque de sa sortie, je n'ai réellement découvert ff7 que récemment !! Même si en le faisant maintenant le jeu a indubitablement pris de l'âge et le rends moins marquant, je comprend tout de même le raz de marée qu'il a causé a l'époque de sa sortie !! Une meilleure traduction officielle n'aurait pas fait de mal même s'il existe neo Midgard !! Système de combat réglé au pied a coulisse Histoire prenante Personnages incroyable
jogo insano de bom, recomendo
Play this version - NOT the new version of FFVII (original) as the new release is buggy as hell, you'll see in the reviews for that one. I'm not talking about Rebirth but the original FFVII which was released again. As a lot of players this is my favourite Final Fantasy game (as well as FFX), I'm a huge fan or turn-based combat. The materia mechanic also is great fun, although not super easy to understand like mastering materia and duplicating them (the in-game way, not using glitches). The story is 'ok' but the main fun is just purely the gameplay and the music. Summons are amazing and there's lots of them, as well as so many spells and abilities you can use, including lots of Limit Breaks to unlock - also not fully explained in game. I'd recommend following a guide if you're a completionist as there are things you will lose access to if missed, but not that many. Still, an amazing game and forever will be my all time favourite of the Final Fantasy games.

Meu primeiro RPG e FF. Tenho muitas memórias excelentes com esse jogo, mesmo não consegui zerar na época do ps1. A platina mais satisfatória que fiz até agora.

Joguei pela Tifa, me apaixonei pela Yuffie, jogasso da porra!! Salvei o mundo junto com a melhor party member e o chad do Cid. (Meu fumante favorito!)
I mean, what can I say -- It's Final Fantasy VII, one of the greatest games ever made, although I certainly am tainted by a lot of nostalgia, as the modding scene around this game at Qhimm's forums is what got me really hooked into graphics and 3D programming and the game modding scene back in the early days of 2000, and today I teach programming courses at a university... it's a real shame that SE doesn't allow you to buy this 2013 version anymore, as this works really well with various mod managers, which allow you to play the game with 30 or 60 FPS during the battles, whereas the original game ran only at a depressing 15 FPS in the battles, which is really painful to watch these days. I have replayed this game in 2025 on Linux and it brought back a lot of good memories, especially after SE kind of botched the remake with a weird broken combat system...
