About
The world has fallen under the dominion of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a sinister corporation that has monopolized the planet's very life force as Mako energy. In the urban megalopolis of Midgar, an anti-Shinra rebel group calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their campaign of resistance.
Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra's elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the rebels, unaware that he will be drawn into an epic battle for the fate of the planet, while having to come to terms with his own lost past.
This product is an upgraded version of FINAL FANTASY VII – 2013 Edition with additional features (there are no changes or additions to the story).
The following extra features are included:
Play through the game at up to three times the speed! This feature can only be used in battle, travel, and select events.
Activate this option to turn off random encounters. Story event battle still must be completed to advance the story.

Bella riedizione di un gran classico con l'aggiunta di diverse opzioni (che al momento non uso) facilitate come autosave, velocità maggiore, eliminare i combattimenti casuali e pure ristabilere i parametri dopo ogni batttaglia! Se avete la vecchia versione vi viene data in regalo. Promosso sempre e dei mille e costosi remake faccio a meno....
It'd be nice if they gave this game a 240p mode, as the only other solution is to get to the 7th heaven mod loader and get the SYW AI upscale backrounds, which have many artefacts, but do look good. The background blur looks good, but it doesn't do it to the characters, so it looks as if your short sighted, but not for the characters

My thumbs up is for Final Fantasy 7 as a game, which is excellent, but not for the Steam version specifically. I've played this game on a lot of systems, and the current Steam version is by far the worst version I've played. There are a lot of bugs. The audio bugs in particular really annoy me. Audio bugs might not impede gameplay, and they might not be as obvious to new players, but when you know what things are supposed to sound like it's very annoying when they sound wrong. Omnislash not sounding right is particularly dissapointing. I'm continuing to play the Steam version just for the sake of getting all the achievements. Once I get them all, I will probably never play the Steam version again. If Steam is the only way you can play the game, then go for it. But if you have the option of getting it on something else like PlayStation or Switch, that would be much better.
