Fields of Mistria

This game is so much fun! I love the similarities between this and Stardew Valley, but I think I like this game more. You can customize your character more easily, there are so many items to collect each season, and I love the mythical aspect of the whole thing. I find fishing way easier in this game as well, so that is a plus.

Fields of Mistria is a very polished farming/dating sim that pays very close attention to detail - where it matters. While much of the gameplay, music, and design are very obviously borrowed, the experience is undeniably wonderful from top to bottom. Every gameplay feature yields either satisfaction or wonder over frustration, creating a farming sim that puts other imitations to shame. Mistria's characters are not the deepest, yet exist as charming portraits within this unique enough world. Any weaknesses FoM has are buried underneath countless layers of effective, interesting, engaging, and fun gameplay.

First of all on launching after 1.0 I recieve ALL of my achievements so THANK--- YOU!!! Everything is working and all of my stuff is where I left it *cries*. I love the energy of this game and I was genuinely excited for its final release and I CANNOT FREAKING WAIT to see this game to the end. Congratulations and thank you for the official launch!! :D I will be giving this game a full review once I am finished. (So yes buy this game??)

Fields of Mistria is as cozy a game as you can get. From collecting a vast amount of furniture and cosmetics and filling out the museum to fulfilling out the main story and side quests. I really enjoy playing this game. it is similar enough to Stardew valley to scratch that itch in my brain while still offering its unique take on the genre. the magic system is neat, ( I wish there were more spells) and I love how easy it is to increase your friendship with everyone. Speaking of, the marriage candidates are pretty diverse and I think they cover a good number of bases. however, with most cozy games I have played I notice the male romanceables in the lineup tend to lean more twinkish than masculine. now there is nothing wrong with that and Mistria does offer Hayden as an option for that overly masculine type, but still that's only one option where as the people who like their men slender and pretty get several. also the personalities of the male romanceables are a little tropy from what I have seen thus far, (Balor is interesting, but I cant get over that E-boy pose he makes all the time) but I also find myself missing a Harvey character in these games (though I think one of the secret bachelors might fit my niche). Of course romancing characters is only one aspect of this game so this nitpick does not change my opinion of the game it's just something I have noticed while playing cozy games. other than that, I love the aesthetic of the game and all the customization it offers and I cant wait to collect everything this game has to offer. I really do like this game and highly recommend for any interested in the cozy game genre!!

8月6日发布的1.0正式版终于等到了，部分还是没有翻译，但已经很棒了。 期待下一步的官方的联机功能，虽然在Nexus上已经有民间的联机Mod了。

I played 20 hours in 2 days. I'm addicted.. Can't wait for tmore updates! <3
