Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 26 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm giving this a positive review, but with some constructive feedback for others who were looking for another game that would scratch the Balatro mental itch (which is how I found the game). Feng Shui Meowong is a colorful and mechanically busy roguelite built around Mahjong hands and treasure synergies. While it offers a lot of systems—elements, tile types, treasure placement, skill cards—the strategic pressure is lighter than it initially appears. Once a strong engine forms, runs often feel more like executing a cascade than making hard decisions. Players who enjoy the spectacle of builds triggering automatically will likely enjoy it, but players drawn to the tight strategic puzzles of games like Balatro may find the decision space less engaging overall. What the game does well: Charming presentation Lots of mechanical knobs (treasures, elements, tiles) Approachable run success Satisfying visual scoring cascades Easy to pick up (even if Mahjong is not a game you know, and especially if you map your Balatro knowledge to the game's scoring patterns) Where the game fell a bit flat for me: Decision density Engine fragility Player agency In all, Meow Jong has more surface complexity, but Balatro has more systemic clarity with fewer moving pieces. Overall, I do LIKE the game. For some, it might be the right fit for your gaming style. However, I beat the game on a brand new deck I had not played before and never needed to pivot away from my starting 6 Treasures. The end felt inevitable from probably round 4 of 16 and I was right. The scoring, as I said before, feels like a cascade of relatively unearned points (kind of like what happens in longer sessions of Bejeweled). For some, this may be what you love about a game. Is it worth the price I paid? Sure. But I've got 100 hours on Balatro, with only a handful of hard-earned wins, and not quite 10 hours here with an easy win already. I know which one I will be playing for years to come.
