[i][b]FEED THE PIT![/b][/i] In all seriousness though, LOVE this game!! It was a little unexpected to see the story take an upfront role given previous entries; HOWEVER the story so far is compelling and hooks you in from the beginning. No spoilers here but I'm curious to see where the narrative leads the player into the next chapters. Speaking of chapters, you know a game is good when it leaves you with the feeling of wanting more and I believe the 2nd and 3rd chapters will be just as entertaining as the first. AND THE GAMEPLAY!! Incredibility entertaining, would have never had thought a Battleship clone would challenge me as much as it has. The various enemies that change each time you venture out always brings a new edge to your hunt. SO SATISFYING when you finally find and catch your target!! My one and only complaint would be no "Endless Mode" or "Custom Mode" from the beginning as it is a little tedious to do the same four hunts over and over again; but this can be excused with the game not being fully released. I'm sure new challenges and features will be added as more chapters are released. TL;DR - [i]PLAY THIS GAME!![/i] and [i][b]FEED. THE. PIT![/b][/i]

Went into it with low expectation's and left pleasantly surprised. Strong story and fun gameplay loop with a healthy mix of horror and intrigue. Despite the cosmic horrors and being imbedded in a cult, the character interactions are well balanced to keep things grounded and even shine with great comedic moments. The actual hunt part of the gameplay is filled with tension, but not so much to make it unbearable and the writing is good enough that you want to overcome and see what happens next. My only beef with the game (currently) is I wanted more game as Act 1 concluded (roughly around 3.5 hour mark included my having to retry the last hunt a few times). That's the thing though - I want more. Will definitely keep this one on a follow and looking forward to Act 2+

Insanely well made and creative game, worth the full price. Up until now theres about 3-4 hours of gameplays, cant wait to see act 2 !

I'm genuinely impressed by this game and it's incredible story telling. I love the world that exists here and the mechanics just are so cool. The monsters can be a bit frustrating at times, though there is some ways to cheese it. Realistically though, there is just so much charm in this and how it all ties together. I really am excited for act 2 and 3 to come out when they do. I hope to see much more from this team. They are AWESOME!

Genuinely such an amazing game. Short and sweet and desperate for more and more! Gameplay is very fun and easy to understand; the story just left me with even more questions. Cant wait to devour the next chunks of the story.

I'd like to start this off by saying this is one of my favorite horror games I've played. The way the cult is portrayed has to be one of my favorite interpretations of a cult. For example, the way they don't actually have names and are instead referred to as their roles makes it feel like they ONLY belong in the cult, which in turn, helps with isolating the members and making them feel special (this is kind of a personal theory on my end). The story is absolutely amazing, hands down one of my favorites and it left me with so many theories on what will happen next.. HELL I'm so excited for the future acts to come out so I can have my questions answered and my theories proven, false or not I'm extremely excited for more. Can't wait for Acts 2 and 3, see you guys when it comes out :3
