Build a farm along winding rivers and historic grain elevators in North America, surrounded by ponds in Central Europe, or in a lush East Asian landscape filled with rice paddies near a neon-lit port city. Grow crops, tend to animals, practice forestry, and manage an empire of business ventures with farm shops, productions, and constructions!
Twisters and hail add new challenges, prompting farmers to prepare and assess the impact on their crops. Tire tracks also leave an impact thanks to ground deformation and plenty of new weather effects, making the view on your farm more romantic and immersive. Start the day with sun rays breaking through the treetops, illuminating the morning mist with golden light!
Grow two types of rice on water-retaining rice fields, or spinach, peas, and green beans as Farming Simulator 25 extends the choice of crops to 25 in total. I personally love this game. Its a sandbox simulator that allows you to build as you see fit. For older millennials and older. If you played any of the EA sims that dominated the late 90s. This is modern version of those games centered around agriculture. If you played the John Deere Sim games such as American Farmer or Drive Greene. This series takes those installments and expands upon it. The base game is centered around mostly Western European agricultural practices, but with the amount of mods available from the game's main menu. At no extra cost. You can farm in Central Missouri. With all of your favorite equipment, while using structures that resemble your old family's farm. One noted missing aspect is the ability to hire crop dusters or drones to spray a field. Younger millennials and younger. Think Minecraft using realistic models, textures, & meshes. The soil and crops have ragdoll physics and react to be driven through. Outside of that though. The collision physics are pretty basic. You could mod that if you really wanted I am sure. This base game takes a lot of power as it is though. There really is no purpose to the game but to farm. Build. Buy land. Buy equipment. Buy livestock. Sell when the markets are right. Plow, seed, and harvest fields. There is a lot to each little aspect of the game and it can be very frustrating to learn the ropes. Especially if you have not seriously played a game from this series since 2012. You are only bounded by the limitations of your imagination. If you want to drive around a Ford Pinto but cant find a mod for it. You can literally build it yourself and import it into the game! Now I personally bought the game because I am a former FFA nerd that qualified for my national degree. I really like agriculture and farming. Of course this will not be everybody's cup of tea. However if you enjoy gardening, taking care of animals, grew up in a rural area, or if you ever just had an interest in playing in the dirt with your tonka trucks as a kid. You will enjoy this game.

It's more of a tractor simulator than farming simulator. There's a lack of attention to detail in some aspects that ruins immersion. Not enough time fixing fences.
