Build a farm along winding rivers and historic grain elevators in North America, surrounded by ponds in Central Europe, or in a lush East Asian landscape filled with rice paddies near a neon-lit port city. Grow crops, tend to animals, practice forestry, and manage an empire of business ventures with farm shops, productions, and constructions!
Twisters and hail add new challenges, prompting farmers to prepare and assess the impact on their crops. Tire tracks also leave an impact thanks to ground deformation and plenty of new weather effects, making the view on your farm more romantic and immersive. Start the day with sun rays breaking through the treetops, illuminating the morning mist with golden light!
Grow two types of rice on water-retaining rice fields, or spinach, peas, and green beans as Farming Simulator 25 extends the choice of crops to 25 in total. Various tree species plus greenhouse vegetables offer even more variety. It's a relaxing sandbox game rather than a challenging simulation. Even on the hardest settings, I found it too easy and eventually lost interest because it became boring. Still, it's a polished and enjoyable game for players who want to relax rather than be challenged.

At the moment, I only have about 9 hours into the game. I Have played Farming Simulator 13, 15, 17, and, 22. 15 added logging, which was fun, but it had some issues. 17 fixed logging made it so logs could be strapped to the vehicle or hauler. Was definitely a pretty big step above the others, especially with graphics and lighting. Let me say that I only have 22 and 13 on Xbox, not on PC, and the others I got years ago on Disc, because my laptop had an optical disc drive (RIP). FS25 so far has been pretty decent an fun. Had started one career mode but messed up so started a new one with more money and zero loan debt, as well as did the tutorial to get the starter farm going, instead of starting with nothing. Tractors and equipment from the older games are either here or are not here, due to licensing. Some tractors do have the ability to be bought either to United States spec or Euro spec (there are differences), but most are built to Euro spec, since Giants is a European company, they have way more acess to that equipment than what would be here in the US. I am enjoying the game, but its definitely different than FS22, which that game had its own dedicated DLC and standalone map for logging, which I enjoyed a lot in FS22. If you are new to Farming Simulator, highly recommend this game and doing the tutorial to get you familiar with the game. It plays well with a controller, however using loaders, logging equipment, the controller is a bit wonky compared to using a keyboard and mouse to open, close the attachments. Maybe its a skill issue for me.
