Very fun take. Def worth it even not on sale.
Good game.
A fun little incremental game. I'm sort of new to this category of games, but I've been playing similar games before they called them "incremental". I found this game from watching GrayStillPlays' YouTube video on it, as I did with a couple other incremental titles. This game certainly scratches that itch. The first level was spot-on and fun, just like most reviews mention. As for the 2nd and 3rd levels, I enjoyed them a bit more than some of the negative reviews about them. I can certainly see why: turrets are slow to progress, but once you get them maxed, positioned correctly, and have auto-respawn amped up, things move really fast. I didn't enjoy the less defined crop outlines of the 2nd and 3rd levels, and the pace was really slow at the beginning. But otherwise they were relatively fun. I did all of the achievements on my first 4-hour gaming session except for the 3rd level. So I will most likely finish this game in 6 hours. Was it worth it for f0ur b1lls? Meh, I guess. Less than a buck an hour of gameplay isn't great, but it was still worth the experience. Also the simple Unity game plays just fine with 2k resolution @ 120HZ on a GTX 1080 with v-sync enabled. To improve the 2nd and 3rd levels, I'd first make the basic crops of both better defined as 3D models (turnips, etc. are fine). Anything but a forest of weeds. Next I'd tweak the turrets. Increase the max number of turrets while decreasing the turret range from upgrades to balance. Turrets are just too slow to start, as getting our weapon upgrades first is better. I'd also kill the auto-respawn upgrade as it makes you feel rushed, especially when your turrets are destroying everything towards the end and you're trying to do the quests with 1-respawn cooldown of the quest box. Auto-respawn doesn't help much for 9/10ths of the progression anyways. Finally I'd change the 2nd level of ice to something else: why are crops growing in a frozen ground? But more importantly for the player we went from a lush meadow to a frozen tundra without much character. That made the experience on the 2nd level a bit more boring. The oasis environment is fine for the 3rd level.

7/10 fun way to kill a few hours, could be fun premise to expand on.

Simple game, doesn't overstay its welcome. levels are different enough not to feel like the same thing with different colors
Was lots of fun! Great game to play while my girlfriend and I watch our shows, I give it a 10/10!
The first level is great. It eases you in, delivers a nice dopamine rush, and leaves you wanting more. Level 2 and 3 are the exact same but worst. level 3 removes the side quests, adds a new mechanic that's useless, and ups the grind that level 2 already made annoying and times it by 3. After almost 5 hours i really cannot recommend this game. Why did i go and 100%. i must be a masochist.
