Fanatic Zeal

Click the video above to see some of the gameplay, mechanic and hear my thoughts on the game. Fanatic Zeal is a simplistic hack and slash game with rogue-lite elements. You move with LMB and attack with RMB. You power-ups on Q, W and E. That's all you need to know to get the game going. After reading that, you are probably like why waste me time it seems too easy; that's where they get you. You come face to face with hoards of enemies and bosses trying to cut down your forces as fast as possible. You have to use your brain, skills and power-ups appropriately to survive each stage. There are plenty of different items to choose from to help fuel your run and between stages you are allowed to rebuild your army. Spend your Gold wisely is all I am going to say. Once your last solider is dead, game over. All in all a successful run should take you about 20 minutes to complete. I would have gladly paid $5 (USD) for this game and been pleased with my purchase. Each run will be slightly the same but the variety of items will keep you replaying for sure. Pick it up now, what do you have to lose?

Amazing proof of concept. a simplified dynasty warriors but it's a roguelike. would happily pay full price for a more fleshed out version and i hope to see what this dev does next. Try it out!

Free, simple, short and fun

I do like me a rogue-like, however the balancing is sub-par. Fun non the less, I think this game a potential.

[b]Risk of Warriors: Isometric Edition[/b] Okay if that needed explaining.. it's like Risk of rain and the Warriors series (Dynasty, Orochi, Samurai, etc) had a baby but the baby fell on it's head and can only see the from the isometric point-of-view. That makes sense, right? [i](Also made it to top 5 on the leaderboard on Normal mode by accident so I guess balancing doesn't really exist yet)[/i]
