1. The Old Testament (Before Jesus)
The Old Testament (OT) is the first part of the Bible and contains 39 books (in Protestant Christianity; Catholics and Orthodox have a few more). It tells the story of God’s relationship with humanity, focusing especially on the nation of Israel.
