About
From a handful of natural resources, you’ll design, build, and optimize your own network of factories. Complete clear objectives and unlock new machines as you climb the ranks from humble operator to ultimate magnate.
Unlike most factory games, Factory Magnate is designed to be approachable — no spreadsheets, no wikis, no ratios to memorize. Just satisfying production lines, steady progress, and that feeling of watching everything click into place.

Start small and grow at your own pace. Build machines, connect production lines, and unlock new technologies — all without the pressure of endless complexity.
Always know what you’re working toward. Each objective gives you a clear goal, rewarding you with new machines, items, and tools to expand your production empire.
You can actually finish this factory game. Complete the final objective to reach the top and claim your title as the ultimate Factory Magnate.
Roughly 25 machines and buildings, and over 50 items to produce and refine — enough depth to stay engaging, but not so much that you’ll need an online encyclopedia to play.
Every map offers a new layout and set of challenges. Expand across landscapes filled with resources and room to grow.
No enemies. No combat. No time limits. Just the quiet satisfaction of watching your creations hum to life.
If you’ve ever wanted to try a factory builder but found them too overwhelming, Factory Magnate is made for you. It’s all the joy of design and optimization — streamlined into a relaxing, goal-driven experience you can enjoy in short or long sessions.

Stuff goes in. Stuff comes out. Number goes up. Brain tickles. Very nice.
A chill factory building game. Engagement comes from getting the timing of production and the material transfer optimized. With new produce requirements and upgrades to your current production blocks urging you to build gathering and maker hubs with forethought. Small touches of character, like the comments accompanying upgrades. Knowing the engineering team found an appreciation for squishing things as I unlock the Compressor block is nice. The layout of the different centers of fabrication, birds flying over while the machines hum, click, stamp and spin out noise and pixel animations play. It’s got a certain vibe. Lean back and enjoy building!
Look, I know, I know.. a review at 10 minutes played, are you serious?? But I played through the demo three times, so I already know this game pretty well. What appeals to me is the, uh, I almost want to say curated experience. There is always an objective to work on, but the game doesn't tell you exactly what to do. I like that guidance, and also that it's so relaxed. It's just nice. And very affordable right now with the launch discount!
This isn't a bad game exactly, it just doesn't bring anything new to the table. I would support it for what it is, but the price is a bit steep for what you get, even with a discount. There's also a lot of missing QoL features, like moving parts, or entire areas around, or copy and pasting areas, making blueprints, etc. Like, the megafactory idea is to build "cells" and then scale it up by copying and pasting them. It could be somewhat novel if we were talking about alien resources, or maybe even ideas (some kind of spirit realm), and not iron, copper, coal, sand, etc. Or if the whole gameplay had something new to say, instead of conveyor belts? I dunno.
Enjoyable but far too simple for anyone with real time in factory‑building or automation games. I finished the game including all achievements in about 8 hours. The core loop is fun, but the depth just isn’t there. There are also a few bugs, and the framerate suffers badly when zooming in on busy factories. The price is fine for what’s here, but the game feels more like a short introduction to the genre than a full experience
Good idea but unfortunately i think its quite poorly executed, controlling conveyors is super clunky. The merger or w.e is super buggy and changes outputs inputs every time you move something beside it which makes absolutely no sense. After about 45 minutes i got a game breaking bug where it would create a bunch of items when i would click in a path bottom left to top right of the screen destroying anything i previously built... Cant recommend in the current state it needs a lot more work imo.
What a nice little game. Has potential.
Fun and chill top-down factory game. No need to worry about keeping everything powered and running, just straight into the main point: Building and constructing what you need to progress. Number goes up, brain goes brrrrrrrrrrrrr and oh my god the meowing sound when launching the game frightened my cat, which surprised my partner, dropping some kitchen utensils, scaring my cat further again which scared her once more. 10/10 would launch and scare the heck out of them all again
Simple, yet complex. Relaxing compared to many other game in the genre. I like it.
Fun incremental production line building game.
