<obligatory "steam needs a mixed review option" statement here> I've had this game on my wishlist for a long time, and tonight I finally got around to playing it. I can tell so much love and effort went into this game. It's essentially if you took a single rhythm heaven minigame, fully fleshed it out, and turned it into a full game (i mean this in a good way). The music is also really good, spaghetti speedway especially so. There is so much about this game that I love, which is why it pains me to ultimately give it a negative review. My main problem with it are the joke stages. While many of them are fun, the fact that they are tied to progression leaves a sour taste in my mouth, it ultimately feels like padding to get the game to 15 stages. I know this game's development is long past, but if I were to suggest a way to fix this, put the joke levels in a separate category like you did with the extra stages. tldr, fun game, good music, ruined by padding.

I went to Spaghetti Night, and it was the best experience of my life. You definitely don't wanna miss the next one.

이건 리듬게임이 아니에요 이건 그냥 반응속도 테스트입니다. 그것도 인간의 한계를 뛰어넘은. 제작자만 신난 게임

I'm so glad I went to spaghetti night. Best spaghetti of my life. I have never been the same since. F.I.S.H. is cool too i guess.
I've been periodically playing this game since it came out and I really like it. It isn't a particularly difficult rhythm game, I wouldn't compare it difficulty-wise to Rhythm Heaven (which was the series that inspired Tim to make this game), but it's not trivial. The music, personally, is excellent. I've seen some reviews criticize it for its changing tempo and, while it's that's true, I don't think strict reaction time is really how this game is meant to be played. It's a rhythm game. The goal is to learn the rhythm of the song and go with the flow. And this game succeeds in that regard. The songs are really catchy and once you've learned the rhythm it becomes quite fulfilling to play. You almost instinctively know when you click. Even the joke levels can be learned. Sure, it's a different rhythm, sometimes, let's say... "experimental." But coming back to the game recently after a year or so I still knew most of the timings in those levels, enough to sufficiently pass. I know this is a somewhat common trait among rhythm games, but it's cool that Tim integrated the cues of the fish directly into the song. Even the soundtrack online has the cues. And the motifs along the duration of the game are great. I love a good motif, and you can find bits and pieces in most of the songs. The visuals are good but sometimes on the minimal side. This game can very nearly be played blind with practice, the visuals are purely there for distraction, and in that way they're a little bland (like Barracuda). It would be nice of some of the visuals were more fast-paced to match the high tempo of some of the songs (a good example is Exit 87). But most, like Barra2da and L, are still nice eye candy. My biggest critique is just that there just aren't enough levels. This game is really fun but a standard playthrough probably only lasts an hour. This is why so many people go and perfect every level (which is still fun and can extend your playthrough, don't get me wrong). But overall, this game is really good, easily worth its price. It's small, sure, and not very hard, but it's made with love and a favorite of mine. I'd recommend it.
