I played the game and I really liked it & I want more now. However its confusing as f***. I will give a positive review just to motivate the developer. PROS: - Central village (hub) for upgrades & research - Well balanced - Beautiful art CONS: - Very confused at the beginning with the hub, I thought that there I need to build towers to defense. - Upgrades have descriptions but building don't. So I don't know why I m building those buildings for. Why they help? And can't decided what to build first because of that. - There are too many roads, that can create confusion, they are just there. I would suggest removing them if they are not important - There are buildings that create confusion near the placement of the towers. - Please make the construction spots of the tower to stand out. - Upgrading towers is not descriptive. I would like to know the damage before & after. - 0 VFX, VFX would improve the immersion a lot. - Please make a button to reset level without needing to exit.
Saw a free to play TD game in the Steam Store and decided, sure why not, it's free to play and in the Alpha, what harm could it do to give it a try? After playing through essentially all of the content the alpha had to offer in a matter of 30 minutes, I had come to several conclusions about the game. I'll go ahead and make a pro/con list like several others may have done. Pros: - It has potential - Relatively appealing graphics - A decent amount of strategy required to 3-star the levels and get all of the gems from them Cons: (can also be seen as a list of things to add/work on, almost like constructive criticism) - Hovering over the spells in levels, you'll find that they entirely lack a description - The plot for the game should not be just a button you can click at the title screen and read through a wall of text for any information as to what is going on in this world and what your purpose is for fighting these creatures. A good idea that many similar games have used is having a mascot-like character that assists and is almost like your partner (except they only appear as a still image and have text box pop-ups that help explain the story throughout your first part of the game) - Having the scenery look nice is lovely but it also feels a tad bit cluttered at times, perhaps tone it down a notch - At the start it not made clear as to whether or not you are attempting to build and defend your town or if you go out on missions to other places (the player is given the idea that perhaps the levels are just waves of opponents being thrown at their town) - The entire town and all of the buildings that exist in it seem to have no purpose whatsoever as of right now, they have no description and there is no way to interact with anything there. The only thing that building accomplishes is leveling up your town level, but as it turns out upping your town level doesn't do anything yet either. Or if it does it's not made clear what it does - There was no music (not sure if this was some sort of error on my part but everything seemed to be working just fine for me) and the sounds became repetitive and boring quickly, this is definitely something that can be expanded upon and improved, the example given in the video for the game sounds better than what is actually put out in the game as of this moment - Since there is only 3 levels you have access to and can 3 star you have a very finite amount of gems when compared to the large number of things/upgrades or spells you can spend your gems on, makes it so you have to choose very few things and probably don't get to experience some or many parts of the upgrade and spell system in one play through of the current Alpha - Towers, placing them, and upgrading them all feel a little rigid and/or janky and could use some smoothing out to make placing or upgrading that tower you need to clutch it out and kill the last guy before he makes it through a little bit easier. - The option to zoom out even more so that you can view the entire map at once would be much appreciated, makes you feel like you have more control of the situation and can help areas in critical need more swiftly and adeptly. For now, I can't really say that I had fun in the 30 minutes I played so I'm going to give it a negative review, there is a lot that could be done on top of the things I've mentioned to improve this game and I understand that it's only the Alpha. It makes me excited to see what it might become if they keep working on it. I encourage the developer to improve the game so I can change my rating to positive! ;)

This is a diamond in the VERY rough, but it's free and the developer says it's an alpha thus my expectations are managed accordingly. It's a tower defence, not secrets there but it's a pretty good one. The graphics look good and colourful and merge well together, however the UI needs work. I really like the idea of upgradeable base in order to further unlock weapons and abilities during a level. Overall a good start and it left me wanting more, so I'm eager to see what the future holds
This was more fun than I expected. Pretty addictive once you get into it. Feedback: - For someone unfamiliar with TDs, I had a bit of trouble figuring out how to start the actual tower defense (you have to click on the play icon and then select a zone, a bit unintuitive) - Sfx could use a bit of variety. Since it's a lot of shooting arrows and cannons, having 5 or s 6 slightly different versions of a sound effect randomly alternate would go a long way. - UI feels a bit big, reminiscent of mobile game UIs. It could use a bit more subtlety so it looks more like a PC game. Anyway, these are small ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and totally understandable for an alpha. It's fun and it's free, just give it a go.
At the time of writing, day 1 of Alpha, has very little content at the moment (I cleared everything in this version in about 30 minutes), but looks very promising for TD fans! Cool features that it lets you upgrade your town which adds a cosmetic aspec to work on, but also seems like it will affect your progression in the game too. Will definitely keep an eye on this one and hope the devs can add more levels soon! :)
too simple game ... not adventure
It's shaping up to be a solid TB, the levels are well balanced. The look and feel of the game is quite retro, but it works in this context, I like the central hub with upgrades and research. There is quite a lot of polish required, it lacks a tutorial and the UI could use a lot of improvements, but as an Alpha it was a quite enjoyable experience.
Yeah, no. There is a lot to be desired from this. It's weird, when I first started I couldn't 3 star level 1 no matter what setup I used. As soon as I came back with some points into bonus gold, it was a cake walk. In fact, everything was. I was disappointed to find out that the towers were per level and not "unlocked" which meant I couldn't be super OP in level 1 but could in level 3. I have absolutely no idea what the point of "Building a town" was as it feels very disconnected to the rest of the game. No idea how an "alpha" game only has 3 levels and a number of the passives are unavailable. Feels like at the very least you could have a bunch of levels. There is a lot of clutter on the screen to make the scenery but it just seems pointless to me as I'm not looking at it. I'm looking at the lanes and where the hell the tower placements are. The Camera is annoying but not unusable. YOU GOT to work on those sounds. The Magic Tower sounds like the Cannon tower and both are far too loud.
Alpha was fun. Graphics are cute, Looking forward to the full game launch.
