Krásně vyvedené RPG, říznuté mírně strategií, z 1. století př n. l. Využívá historické události (sice ne úplně věrně, ale to opravdu nevadí) a skutečné postavy k vyprávění klasického příběhu o pomstě.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wound up enjoying this game a lot more than I expected to- if you're into tactical RPGs, the gameplay has a satisfying amount of strategic headroom to suit your playstyle, and if the idea of playing something 'historical' without magic or supernatural elements seems boring to you, I can say the gameplay itself doesn't feel 'flat' because of this. The strategic war-campaign stuff definitely feels tacked on and is not interesting or exciting, but the best I can say about it is that it wasn't enough of a chore to really ever put me off playing more. I'm sure there are plenty of complaints about the missions your main companions are locked out of going on and you're forced to send your hirelings on, but I actually didn't mind these- I think being forced to improvise a bit and use more characters is something tactical RPGs should do more often. As far as the 'trimmings' go- voice acting is surprisingly good and definitely adds to the setting and deepens your engagement with the plot, which is similarly a little more interesting than I was expecting going in, even if the general beats of the plot follow the story of Julius Caesar so the settings, if not the plot beats, are known to anyone familiar. One decision I wasn't wild about but was able to get over is that the game consciously avoids ever using the term 'slave' (using the Latin 'servus' instead), though slavery is ubiquitous, figuring probably correctly that it's a tough thing for modern audiences to just get over and accept. There's a deeper conversation than this review to be had about that, but I'll say the game probably does shy away from some, but not all, of the uglier elements of that system.
güzel
How often do you think about the Roman empire? I was already a big fan of the Expeditions series, riminally underrated TB RPG's if you ask me. Very fittingly, Rome is the grandest in every aspect. Balanced really well between classic storytelling, roleplaying elements, strategic overworld management strategy and of course the battles themselves. If you're into the genre you'll have a have a grand time. All the more if you're a bit of a history buff.
Refreshing to play a CRPG/TRPG with an ancient setting without any magic or supernatural elements. Good story with an interesting retelling of the story of Caesar.
I'm only about 6 hours in but my goodness what a great game. I'll update once I finish playing it but I have to say, the opening arc of this game is fantastic. Really great RPG system and I hope they make more stuff like this.
