If Alex (John RPGmaker) doesn't get rammed from behind by Gomez the pirate than the game sucks and i'm going back to playing real VIPRPG games. Consider checking out VIPRPG games like Enchant Farm/PInboraian/Wind I Creator/Moshimon Quest Monster's/Tobiden The game is a joke if you decide to use the death harp.
Lovely little adventure! As another review said, it is not epic, but it does not need (or try) to be. Had a lot of fun in the 6h of gameplay (played through internet outage, which is why it shows less playtime on Steam).
just to inform new player: this game is so confusing be ready to spend an hours just searching and after that having to see a youtube video

Funny little game. Enjoyed it. Played it through in one sitting though. Can replay with choosing different companions each time.
For a free RPG it is actually not bad. it is not going to make you ditch big name titles...but it is priced just right. However the game is easy to break out the door. (just buy a lot of weapons and armor to sell before your money is stolen). Also I can't find an exit key. On that note...sometimes it takes a while to load after opening, and I am just staring at a blank white screen. But for the cost of $0...these aren't big issues. Get it and try it. If you love old school style rps from the SNES days...this one might just work for you.
the dialogue wasn't so great. only being able to save at churches is annoying. I like the pixel characters, those look great, but don't vibe with the game.
quick fun game; starry + magic amulet does make the game easy mode near the end
