Short and sweet. It proves that you don't need anything too fancy to make a good RPG Maker game. Just give it a satisfying progression and polish every edge until you have a smooth experience.
Quick and easy game, reminds me of playing Dragon Warrior. But with Phantasy Star Graphics. was fun
Just play it

Oh yeah this one feels good because it reminds me of the good old days. Fun simple, and it did remind me of the original Dragon warrior, and Final Fantasy. Yep give this one a thumbs up for sure.
Lovely game you'll probably play for longer than you think
Its a cute short passion project that brings back 2D Dragon Quest nostalgia....also its free. I would still highly suggest this if it was a 5-10$ game (it is rather short or it would be more) but for free? if you like Dragon quest play this.
A whimsical one-weekend adventure, made in tribute to the simple jRPGs of the NES era. It's neither revolutionary nor epic, but it's not meant to be. Instead you wander around, enjoying the fundamental pleasures of killing monsters and looting chests, en route to some great destiny. If I had a complaint, it would be that the challenge level is nearly nil. Inns are free, so you can grind with impunity, levels come fast, and if your fastidious at scavenging Ancient Coins, you can get accessories that reduce MP costs to 0, at which point even the stronger bosses are trivial. But it's a free download made for love of the game, and you can't fault it on such minor things. Give it a try the next time you need a palette cleanser between big games, and keep an eye on the developer; he's still active, and apparently developing a more ambitious project.
Fun little game but short. also why do the grape slimes eat themselves?????????????????!!!!!!!!!
If Alex (John RPGmaker) doesn't get rammed from behind by Gomez the pirate than the game sucks and i'm going back to playing real VIPRPG games. Alex doesn't get rammed from behind by Gomez my day is ruined. Consider checking out VIPRPG games like Enchant Farm/PInboraian/Wind I Creator/Moshimon Quest Monster's/Tobiden The game is a joke if you decide to use the death harp.
the dialogue wasn't so great. only being able to save at churches is annoying. I like the pixel characters, those look great, but don't vibe with the game.
