I had very high expectations going into this game after completing the first Everhood a few days ago. I was so hyped to see where it would go but now I am struggling to find the energy to finish the game. Maybe my expectations were too high or I shouldn't have gone into it with the same mindset as Everhood 1 but this is a complete disappointment compared to the first game. The music is good but not as memorable as the stuff from the first Everhood. I'm only 6 hours in at the time of writing this so maybe I haven't hit the great stuff yet but nothing is hitting as hard as "Why Oh Are You Love", "Born Chaos" or "Souvenir de La Boum Avec Sophie Marceau" just to name a few. Those are absolute bangers and I haven't found a song in this that makes me feel the same way as those. The story feels all over the place too, after
killing the dragon and getting the soul weapon
, I'm not sure what the goal is anymore. I've been wandering through the time door which was interesting but other than that I feel lost. It might just be a me thing but little of the characters in this feel as memorable as the ones in Everhood 1. So far my favorite character is Sam just cause we're seeing more of him than we did in the first game. Would Lucy too. I will say however, the combat is a lot more fleshed out than it was in the first game. I hope I'll find the will to complete this game eventually but right now I just can't.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is soooooooo gooooooooooood bro
So many reviews heavily weight the lower quality of story and character development in this sequel, which is fair, but I think slightly overstated. The story and characters are worse than the first game, but the gameplay is a lot better, and the music is nearly as good. Overall, I would say this game is slightly worse than the first because the story and characters are a lot of what made the first game so memorable and engaging, but I'm not going to say it's a bad game that I wouldn't recommend. It just lost some of its charm. Also, the achievements in this game were far more fair and enjoyable to unlock, besides the returning Incinerator-like achievement (although it was way easier because it's not no-hit and some parts can be cheesed). 7.2/10
有創意 但是很抱歉 我不喜歡 不會不推薦
one of the few pieces of media thats been profound enough that i think everyone should experience it :) 10/10 game and alot of these tracks are going straight to the playlist dont falter now, slay your dragon!
This is a great game. It's bewildering and confusing but, by the end of it, those feelings contributed to the impact of the experience overall in a positive way. If you go into this with an open mind and without expectations based on your experience with the original, I think you'll enjoy it. I also have to give extra kudos for one of the absolute coolest implementations of mod support I've ever seen. If the game was only a vehicle for its fan creations, it would still be worth the price of admission, in my opinion.
one of the most unique games ive played in a while. Some songs are absolute bangers and its been a treat having a proper challenge without it feeling mean. if youre a rhythm gamer with a weird sense of humor. Buy it
