Incredibly polished and satisfying game! I've beaten it in one sitting, couldn't stop playing it

Quick fun game with good pixel art. Shorter that I'd like, but at the same time, doesn't get too grindy, so it's not a bad thing overall.

Overall, for a budget game, this is excellent. Is it perfect? No. It felt very much like playing Battlestar Galactica, constantly jumping into hyperspace to evade enemies while building a plan to rescue humanity. The core idea is great, and the sense of foreboding is there early on. Unfortunately, the gameplay becomes repetitive, and the enemies don't scale enough to remain a real threat, so that feeling of tension gradually disappears. Even if your ship is destroyed, it doesn't feel like much of a setback, as you simply respawn and only lose your collected resources. There's definitely room for improvement, but I still enjoyed the three hours it took me to complete. For the price, I'd say it's well worth playing.

Even if I beat it in 2 hrs I wouldn't have refunded, but if it were any shorter I think some people might refund it just to be jerks. Was fun and short, if a bit simple. Nice aesthetic, there's not too much difference in resolution of the pixel art between items, which is distracting in other games with a similar style. A few decent voice lines, simple enough story. Makes you think about a sequel. Good visual and sound effects. Some things are not immediately apparent, but easy enough to figure out, like how to use the forge, how to get your first cloneable piece, what certain upgrades do, if expanding your base makes it slower to close, etc. Ran perfectly on Linux.

Very good and short game with a nice loop and nice looks. The menus are a little clunky at some moments. Chill until the clock runs out.
