Eternum EX

Great time travel with the game! It reminds me to the good old Castelvania experience. I've just unlocked the first 2 levels but it will make (at least) my weekend :)

There's some fun to be had, but ultimatly it's kinda shallow (even for an arcade game) and not as difficult as the trailer would have you believe. Also, to get the good ending you have to play a mode where the challenge is almost non-existant because you get infinite continues. If you have to try it, wait for a discount because it's definitely not worth it at full price.

I love the old style that it has, and not only that, the difficulty is similar to the arcade machines that I played as a child, super recommended

Este juego bebe de los arcades que poblaron los salones recreativos de los 90. Recoge toda la esencia de unos cuantos títulos y los mezcla en un juego bastante adictivo y cuyo resultado final a la vista es bastante notable. Los gráficos son muy chulos y las scanlines recrean las pantallas de esos muebles donde tantas monedas nos gastamos. El juego en sí se basa en escenarios con varias alturas en las que nuestro personaje tiene que esquivar monstruos y recuperar unos baúles con joyas. Además, estos baúles pueden contener varios efectos que nos harán mas fácil la labor. La curva de dificultad está bien medida, empezando con un par de niveles muy asequibles y multiplicando exponencialmente el número de enemigos en pantalla. Por último la música está a la altura de las circunstancias y también bebe de otros clásicos de la época. Recibí este juego gratuitamente gracias a un sorteo del podcast Fasebonus.

Un juego para la nostalgia, muy entretenido. Deseando que salga nuevo contenido. Imprescindible jugar con mando.

EternunEx is a trip to childhood. A classic game, enter and play, without waiting, without complicated menus. The story of Sir Arthur is the story of an old man tormented. An addictive game (more than four hours in Switch played ^^). A very worked artistic aspect and simple mechanics but very well applied. I want more of this old grumpy!

Menudo vicio. Juego al estilo arcade clásico en el que desde el primer minuto ya sabes que no vas a parar de jugar. Vienen a la mente juegos como Tumblepop, Snow Bros, Bubble Bobble... los cuales, al igual que Eternum EX, parecen ser atemporales. Y es que todo acompaña para ello: los gráficos al estilo retro, la jugabilidad, la música... Más que recomendado en relación diversión-precio.

The game is great!!! It feels like an old arcade game, but modern at the same time. The theme of the game, the music and the pixel art is really good. I think that the trailer oversell the fact that is hard, It's not that hard, which is great. It's not a frustrating game. It's a well made game. Played on Ubuntu 16.04.

I played this game for hours and I definitely love it. It reminds me some arcade games of my childhood like Bomb Jack and Bubble Bobble combined. I recommend to play the Arcade mode, with infinite continues. Great variety of enemies with different patterns and cool bosses battles, you will never get bored!
