Rosetta, the protagonist, decides to help a fugitive witch escape town despite her obviously hiding something. Sexual attraction and romantic feelings ensue. Gallery is available. • There are screen effects for several scenes in the story, which give a cute, little touch. • While the story is a bit silly, there is a decent amount of humor and interesting happenings to keep the player reading. • The multiple endings are interesting in seeing how good or bad things can go based on choices. [u]Complaints[/u] • Typos and occasionally awkward English translation. • I didn’t really feel much from either the romantic scenes or erotic descriptions. It just felt too rushed. There was no thrill. • The story is silly because the fugitive witch can teleport, and yeah, at first she doesn’t know if she has enough power to do so, but like, what stopped her from trying while she was hiding out at Rosetta’s house? If she knew she could teleport, then she could’ve easily went to a part of the castle town’s wall where guards weren’t hanging out and teleported through it for an easy escape. Instead, the story is about wearing ridiculous disguises that [i]obviously[/i] will not work rather than utilizing magic. Sorry, but I was rolling my eyes at it all. It was okay. I didn’t dislike it, so that’s why it’s getting a positive review. The story had potential, but it just went in an odd direction to me. With some improved writing, I would’ve liked it a lot more. The art and humor was good though, so that’s what saved it.

一个画风艳丽的小甜饼，剧情没有什么大的跌宕起伏，又一个入室抢劫般girl love girl的故事 感到用心的地方是选项支和差分做得非常充足，有两条非常大的差分线是从游戏中途就开始分的，并且对于好感度的把控，人物感情关系的递进设计很用心，自己随心打的时候能明显感觉到这一点，是一个有一点“游戏性”的百合gal，好顶赞 因为是奇幻架空背景，剧情又比较平铺直叙，所以对我来说属于看完就结束的故事，很难去引申什么感想性的东西 非要说的话就是剧情结尾太潦草了，HE居然也就用几行字带过，没有CG也没有人物对话后日谈这类，就非常寸止，也很难让人有从此两个人幸福地生活在一起的实感，甚至不如NE两个人成为女王和皇商或者女王和国师来的有感觉 整体上还是一部挺好吃的小甜饼，喜欢欧美快节奏叙事的可以尝尝

Pleasant characters. Cute and sensual illustrations. Salamandra has a magnificent style for western cartoons. The writing was above average. My biggest complain has to be Rosetta's homophobic biases that made her act (at times) like a generic visual novel protagonist, denying a girl she's very into, just because of her dumb idiosyncrasies (in this case that lesbianism is creepy/perverted). When she wasn't denying "Zara", the writing is much more pleasant, since both Rose and Zara have great personalities. Rose is funny, authentic, smart, coquette, and Zara is analytic, caring, considerate... The story branches with alternative responses, which lead to different endings and various different artworks. I prefer my VNs kinetic but branching in this game didn't annoy me. I finished the game once and then went back to saved games of optional replies and skipped to unlock missing artworks. There's a gallery for all the artworks, a BGM player, a credits page with web links to artists and devs. More features than what's commonly seen. 7DOTS, the publisher of this VN, also developed Crystal City which was the first VN I ever read around 8 years ago. The story is pretty cute, the two main characters help each other and there is an interesting twist on the later part of the story. Even with the censure on, it's not really censured, the same pictures are unsed and they only cover the nipples with random objects while the text is identical.

A short but lasting visual novel. Escape from the Princess not only has dazzling and shiny art, there is also adventure and personality contained within. I enjoyed this game for what it was - despite not liking ecchi, I wasn't put off by it in this game because it is not there just to fuel the fanservice of poorly-made erotica. The interactions between the girls - whether bickering, friendly, romantic, or sexual, were all reminiscent of two people with a real connection. Both main characters were interesting, passionate characters with depth and consistent personalities. For how short the game was I feel like their relationship developed fairly naturally, albeit a bit quickly by normal standards. One of my favorite details about this game is the background art. It's all original and just as pretty as the character art, if not more so. Plus, parts of the background scenes are dynamic and move around a little bit, but not so much as to be distracting. Escape from the Princess is a refreshing GxG visual novel that does not force or fetishize same-sex attraction, but instead tells an endearing story of two lovers and how they came to be. The only negative I can think of is that the endings are a bit rushed and end with a simple bit of dialogue from the protagonist explaining how things eventually fold out, which isn't the most creative way to write an ending. Still, the rest of the game makes up for that and the few minor errors in the translation, so I'd say it's definitely worth looking into this one for your collection.

This is a great VN and a definite improvement over Sweet Fantasy when it comes to the complexity of plot and the sheer amout of content. Took me a lot of tries and 3 hours to unlock the good endings, and I still have 2 left to find. The characters are complex and I felt very immersed in the story the whole time. The high quality and colorful art helped a lot. The music is good as well, I had no desire to turn it off as I often do. I guess I'm a little surprised at the contrast between the different endings, but I guess it's how life is, some seemingly unimportant choices could literally change someone's fate. Anyway, I'm looking forward to finishing this game and I will definitely look up the other VN from this developer!

This vn is a decent cat and mouse yuri romance. It has a quite good story, different choices and routes which are all well made and some cute CG's It offer a gallery a music album and a recap of all the possible endings. Despite the actual name of the novel, the game is easy to read and not as fantasizing as we would guess at first, it is not NSFW centered. I can safely recommend it further!

百合+ADV+多结局+视觉小说。立绘+画风挺精美的，很有梦幻感。真的挺喜欢女主罗塞塔的，很有趣很跳脱的女孩哈哈哈，而且精神很稳定（）第一遍的时候顺从本心选，然后毫不意外地打出了Bad End，读档后打出了剩下两个Bad End......不愧是我。不过BE也给了一些人物信息，有点逐步探索真相的感觉。还被孤独结局给虐到了，好凄惨......还是美美私奔最好了嘿嘿。很喜欢星空下贴贴的场景~缺点是，结局就文字草草描述了一下，连一个CG图都没有！！！[spoiler]谁懂啊好想看到换回自己身体的公主和罗莎美美贴贴开启新生活的CG啊！！哀嚎！！[/spoiler]有一些莫名其妙的裸露场景，感觉没啥必要，对我来说是减分项。 没什么雷，百合小甜饼（指HE的时候），打个合格分吧。
