Esau is the master of a magical book conjuring his own little world. Writing in the book allows him to make anything. Esau is not just some visitor to this world, he is GOD. Today, he has retreated into his fantasy land. And why wouldn't he? He is king there.
Sometimes Esau will be enthusiastic. Sometimes he'll be so depressed all he can do is walk. You must push through the hard times, in the hope that you'll break through to the person and find blue skies of forgiveness at the end.
Esau's World is my first ever published game, which I started work on in 2022! Thank you so much for your support! It means the world to me!

Reviews
Writing a review for this game has been difficult for me. It is at times like these I desperately wish that Steam had a neutral review. There are things I find great about Esau's World. The puzzles and mechanics introduced throughout the game are very well explored. The game even has some optional challenge-puzzles or novel solutions for players who want to think outside the box! There are plenty of head-scratchers in here and anyone who enjoys a solid puzzle platformer would definitely enjoy these. However — the game does end a bit suddenly and it lacks a truly satisfying conclusion or capstone to its plotline. Esau's World does have some fun characters, dialogue, and memorable moments; but if you don't love the puzzle platformer genre, you could be left wanting by the end of it. I definitely would recommend Esau's World to anyone who is a fan of the puzzle platformer genre (and especially if they love to support indie games) — but for players who enjoy other genres, they may not be able to find home here.
Fun platformer with a wide variety of puzzles. I've hit a lot of blocks where I had to walk away and think about the problem before coming back to tackle it again, but none that are impossible to solve, so far anyway. I've put a lot of hours in trying to find every secret area and puzzle and I still have a couple to go, so it's a good buy in terms of sheer amount of puzzle content.
