Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Highly replayable.
Unlock 16 different endings, each progressively revealing more of the story, your reality, and the motivations of the various characters.

it's ok!
I liked *Erannorth Chronicles*; I like *Erannorth Renaissance* even more. For me, it’s a beautiful, solid old-school role-playing game that captures the spirit of a pen-and-paper campaign well and offers interesting character-building options. It’s really fun. My only criticism is that most of the dialogues seem to have been written by AI, but for a one-man project (?), I find that acceptable, and I’m happy to put up with the occasional AI clichés like ancient prophecies, magical orbs, and purple prose descriptions with occasionally odd metaphors. For the game’s future development, I’d like to see a respec option and more story elements. Regarding the use of AI, I’d find it interesting if, as options, either the dialogues were edited by hand a bit more (to reduce AI clichés and optimize immersive writing) or AI were fully integrated to make interactions with generated NPCs more exciting and unique (and to fully leverage the potential of AI).

Erannorth Renaissance is a fun, turn-based, moddable RPG. Well worth it.
Needs more content, but was fun while it lasted. content mods would be good
Story and prose are all needlessly verbose due to careless AI usage (likely an older Claude model since GPT-6 Astra isn't as bad). Combat seems unbalanced, swinging from 0 to 100 with little leadup. UI is very poor for figuring out what enemies can do.
it's a surprisingly fun game. Lots of dying initially before I realized you're supposed to get stronger before taking on some fights. The game does suffer from a surprisingly bad inventory system that really should be fixed; others have commented on it and it's true. There's a good number of combinations of skills and traits that lead to good abilities, but it's trial and error. I wish they would allow you to see a tree so you could strategize what abilities you want to build. In general good game, good depth, poor user friendly optimization.
Sometimes you play a new game expecting it to be A, but it turns out to be B. You immediately dislike the game because it's not A. You shelve it and look for more games like A. Then you think to yourself... Maybe B is really what I want after all? So you go back to that game and appreciate it from a new perspective. I think this is exactly what happened with me with this game. Then I learned to play it in its own terms, rather than mine. Really tried to get in the dev's head and understand the game they were trying to make. At some point it clicked. I remember having this same experience with SaGa Frontier back in the day. I went in expecting another typical JRPG, but it was anything but that, so I hopped off it and didn't return until years later. Now the SaGa series is one of my most beloved RPG series ever. Anyway, read the other reviews to learn more about the game itself and if it's your cup of tea. You can even essentially play through the entire game for free with the demo. But if you ask me, this game is very enjoyable as a sandbox RPG experience, and it'll only get better as the dev adds more content. Based on their other games, they have a track record of this, so I'm confident I'll be playing this one for a long time.
