About
Erannorth Renaissance is a text driven gamebook with sandbox elements. Create your hero, build their party, and shape your journey. Set in an open world, it mixes text based narrative, turn based combat, deep character customization, and sandbox freedom.
Make Your Hero
Jump right into the action with a pre-built character or create your own. Your origin story is only the beginning. Every choice you make shapes your unique journey.
Choices That Matter
Face ancient vampires or become one. Feed on the innocent or become their champion. Pick pockets, blackmail rivals, attack adventurers, or make the world a safer place by ridding it of supernatural threats and bandits.
Highly replayable.
Unlock 16 different endings, each progressively revealing more of the story, your reality, and the motivations of the various characters.
Foremost, a Vampire Story
While you can play and complete some routes as a mortal, the largest part of the game and the longest routes tell a vampire story. Your story.
Explore a Dynamic World
Step into a living world that evolves with or without you. After the story, play freely in sandbox mode, or jump straight into Sandbox.
Social Interactions
Meet and interact with hundreds of NPCs, each with their own personality and story. Form friendships, rivalries, or even romance partners through an optional dating system. Your romance settings let you tailor the experience to your preferences. You can disable romance entirely, keep things light with casual flirting, or allow more explicit interactions.
Exciting Tactical Combat
Engage in strategic battles on a hex-based grid. Combat is approachable for newcomers yet deep enough to challenge seasoned players. You can change the difficulty at any time to make future encounters easier or harder.
Blade and Spell at Your Fingertips
Master powerful weapons and magical abilities to dominate your battles. As you progress, unlock new skills and perks to shape your hero into a legend of your own making.
Customize Your Way
Enjoy easy-to-use yet deep customization. Choose your party's gear, skills, and tactics exactly the way you like, making each adventure truly your own.
Radiant Side Contracts
Take on endless dynamic quests that react to your actions. These side contracts provide ever-changing opportunities for fame, experience, and loot.
Creative Crafting System
Create tools and items using an expansive crafting system. Experiment with ingredients, rare resources, and special tools to discover recipes or learn them from tomes.
Unlimited Modding Possibilities
Customize and expand the game with full modding support. Whether you are changing character graphics, adding new adventures, or designing entirely new species and combat actions, the built-in tools make modding accessible even if you have never tried it before.
In Erannorth Renaissance, your choices are your legacy. Will you become a beacon of hope in a fracturing world, or will darker ambitions guide your way?
Answer the call and shape your destiny.

So far I enjoy the game quite a bit and have only played sandbox. My only real issue is the overworld map. I know there is a quick travel but their are things still difficult to find (ex. Statues for god). As well as finding new NPCs to add to the team. Also with the towns being so close when you start having horses the camping feature is no longer really needed (which is a shame because I love the camping and random events). And with how close you are to the map it feels claustrophobic. Suggestion: Personally I think a fix would be when you reach the town/city it brings you to another map that represents the place. Can have the NPCs walking around here to make them easier for the player to find (could even add bandits at night that you could fight there as well). Would either increase the map size or lower the movement gained from horses to +.5. As well as the ability to zoom out to give breathing room. Excited for future projects.
This game scratches a special itch I always have had, I love this game :D
Love the fact this game keeps getting love & attention for the devs with large updates even after the 1.0 release.
I think this game is awesome. It is definitely a niche audience and although a bit difficult to understand all the mechanics as even I still don’t know them all after playing for a while, I definitely recommend it for those who don’t mind doing a lot of reading and enjoy a fantasy setting where you build up your characters skills and choose who you want to be. Like for me instance; I like being the scummy scum that I am. Party of adventures around the corner? I might kill you and take your stuff if I feel like it. Somebody needs a contract assassin to take some unlucky person out? Of course my slimy self will do it for some coin because I’m a jerk like that. Romance multiple babes but never commit to one? Naturally, you can’t stop my sexiness. Keep in mind this is all happening as I summon minions, throw some spells and craft some volatile potion to deal with my unfortunate enemies who cross my path…which seems to be the whole world for me for unknown reasons… But anyway; the only consideration, not necessarily a bad thing, is that it could be difficult to understand all the mechanics like I mentioned earlier. Like Charm for example. Not once have I ever gotten a point in Charm for all my play throughs. No it’s not because I’m a massive vermin throughout each play through; even when I play as a good person I never got a point in Charm. I still to this day have no idea how to increase it. It’s little things like that and understanding how recruitment works, how to discover recipes to cook that damn piece of meat that’s been sitting in your stash for months etc, that may make you pause but overall nothing that shouldn’t make you rage quit. I recommend you try the demo or watch someone play. For me this is a game with immense replay value that you can always come back to, to decide how much of a jerk should I be today? Or you know, be actually good and help people in the world lol.
I love this game. True RPG. A lot of classes, perks, weapons, armor and even mounts. Amazing storyline! Thank you to developer's team. I recommend this game to all hardcore RPG adventurers. Onwards!
its weird but i like it
The game is good though I would prefer more summoning options like in the prior titles
Love this game
The sandbox activities are disappointing, consisting of going from A to B and doing a singular thing. The main story and actual side quests are good though
Look, if you like interactive fiction games then you'll PROBABLY enjoy this. I haven't completed the story for the first time yet (because I'm taking my time with it) but I definitely think it's a solid game. Is it worth $20? Eh... I'm not sure. I mean I'd argue it probably is given I'm already at about 40 hours but still. I think given the AI generated content maybe the price should be $10-$15 but hey, ain't up to me is it? Still, I do think it's a solid game that plays well and has a neat little universe attached to it. I'd definitely recommend it on a sale at the very least. Looks decent, plays well, runs well, and overall it's pretty fun imo. Your mileage may vary but I think it's pretty good.
