Even though I completely suck at platformer games, I still really enjoyed this! The art in the game is really beautiful and I love the bunny sprite. It also has amazing music, and I love the way the story is told, like it's from a fairytale book or ancient fable. I really like the mechanic of 'fighting' the animal constellations, mixing the platforming element with a boss battle. There were a few small bugs, e.g. in some parts the game generated an area where it was impossible to move past it because there wasn't enough space between the levels, sometimes the boss battle parts would project you backwards off the screen causing you to fall, and at the end there was a problem with the text/narration lining up and skipping/replaying.
This game reminded me of a childhood bedtime story I recommend it for that nostalgic feeling to gave me with its hand drawn artstyle and calm narration its a short gentle adventure and also an absolute nightmare The games controls feel so unfinished and frustrating you die by being within 1 pixel of proximity to the enemies. Its so cute but its let down by the fact its so infuriating I left the game open for 40 minutes while I just screamed into the void about how annoying it was. Even if you're good at platformers the lives mechanic makes it near impossible to do anything other than play it absolutely safe. There is no invulnerability after taking a hit meaning you will lose another life almost instantly if youre still in contact with the enemies. Its such a sweet game thats let down by its honestly amateur feeling build. Its so cute I loved the feeling it gave me during the story sections but it also made me feel so just unsatisifed and unhappy with the gameplay only reason I recommend is because the storybook cosy vibes and its free
Equinox takes a simple yet enchanting art-style to the next level with game-play anyone can adapt to. The platformer element is regularly introducing new abilities and ways to get around that keep the game from falling into repetition while you travel between levels. The mechanics used for combat can take a few minutes to get a handle on but after that it's a unique and pleasant experience that brings you to some of the best storytelling I've ever heard. Storytelling is an art very close to the heart for me after it was introduced to me by someone very special. The narration is imperfect in the best of ways that keeps the beauty of storytelling alive while doing voice over a service as well. The story itself is reminiscent of a children's book but I found myself infatuated with it nonetheless. I cannot recommend this game enough!
it was mid, the game play itself was fine and was enjoyable but it was a bit confusing at first because a lot of things weren't explained or shown such as being able to step on the creatures or having to step on the constellations until all the stars are gone. Also, the art for some of the cutscenes for the constellations looked a bit messy like as if they used the sketch/storyboard for it, it didn't really look polished to put in a game, and the last thing was the dialogue at the ending was bugged for me and the text didn't line up with the voice and the voice would read some of it then get cut off.
Cute, silly story. Easy to learn but hard to master game mechanics. At credit's end there's a hard mode option, second playthrough with it recommended for those who like a challenge, I needed nearly 2 hours to beat the final boss.
Достаточно, классная короткая игра: сказочный сюжет и персонажи, красивая музыка и фоны, и стоит еще упомянуть геймплей, который научит вас терпению. В целом, очень мило и интересно. <3
