Painfully procedurally-generated platformer.
This is adorable. Its simplicity I think enhances the story and enjoyment. It has easy controls and the challenge comes from the levels themselves. The art is absolutely gorgeous. The detail at the end about the stars after the inbetween levels? I think that's my favorite part. Lovely and superb game.
Super cute and fun game. Took me about 30 minutes to play. Challenging at some parts and relaxing in others. Loved the story.
Love the storybook adventure, I really wasn't expecting much from a free game, and it exceeded my expectations. My only gripe is that the foreground art is a little too opaque and was bothering my parkour. I keep hitting the enemies because it was hard to see. I wish this game had controller settings as I am really bad with keyboard.
Cutesey, rabbit story like a children story animated with some parkcore. Perfect simple story with a rabbit! Completeable in one session with multiple levels in order to defeat boss constellations to get moon pieces.
Playtime: Takes ~ 25 min to complete without playing Hard Mode Art: The art in this game looks great. It has a nice storybook style which fits the narrative really well. The platforms and the Fallen Star enemies are the exception. Narrative: This is where the game shines. The narrative is told in pieces as stories/myths which all culminate into a cohesive and sweet story. Gameplay: This where the game is lacking heavily. It's a Simple 2D Platformer where you unlock a few movement abilities along the way. I like the way that you earn movement abilities. I also like the boss fights (other than the fact that they are all the exact same thing), the constellation idea is pretty good. I think what I would like to see is the Constellation Bosses be a lot bigger and have a much larger platforming room so I have to move all the way across the room to hit all the stars while the boss shoots projectiles in a bullet hell style. That's just an idea though. The platforming levels between the boss fights is the worst part of the game. It's very repetitive and only acts as filler. Sound/Music: The music is soft & touching, and it fits the world pretty well. The sound design definitely needs some work, but it's not awful. However, the narration of the story is done really well by the voice actress. Overall: This game has great story-art, and narrative that I could see being used in a completed game. The music is pretty good, and the narration of the story is fantastic. I hope to see the developers work on game design, level design, and sound design (especially in relation to gamefeel) as they continue their careers. This game is worth a quick play to appreciate the art and story, and I encourage anybody who reads this to leave a review that fairly critiques the game so that hopefully the developers can learn and make an even better game next time!
