Equinox, aesthetically speaking, is beautiful. the art is lovely with a fable-esque story. Unfortunately, it suffers from a lack of polish that make the game feel amateurish. The hitboxes ingame are incredibly inconsistent, and this becomes a problem with many of the bosses where knockback upon damaging the boss can fling you into a conveniently placed pit of death that, unless you are impeccable with your timing, will have you lose health. The lack of invincibility frames serves as a minor annoyance, and In the final cutscene, it seems the audio has broken, and will repeat lines of dialogue already spoken. It is disappointing that for over four years now, this game has been out, but no attempt has been made to remedy any of these bugs. this feels like a first attempt and was not playtested thoroughly. Glad it was free.

Механика вращения платформы и перемещения шара проста в освоении, но сложность уровней постепенно возрастает, заставляя искать нетривиальные решения. Графическое оформление минималистично, но атмосферно, а спокойная музыка способствует расслаблению. Визуальный стиль создает ощущение покоя и концентрации, позволяя полностью погрузиться в процесс решения головоломок. Отдельно стоит отметить хорошо продуманную систему подсказок, которая помогает, не раскрывая решение напрямую, а направляя игрока. Конечно, игра не лишена недостатков. Иногда управление может показаться немного неточным, что приводит к случайным падениям шара. Кроме того, некоторым игрокам может не хватить разнообразия в визуальном оформлении. Тем не менее, в целом 'Equinox' оставляет положительные впечатления и рекомендуется всем любителям головоломок, ищущим что-то расслабляющее и одновременно стимулирующее ум. Это хороший выбор для коротких игровых сессий и отличный способ размять мозги.

i hate this game a lot. yes it may be very cute with amazing art & a nice lore story that makes you wanna play more, the game is so difficult & very buggy. if you have the courage and are good at platform games, i recommend. other than that, i personally do not recommend.
