Despite the developer seemingly abandoning this game, I still like it a lot. This is one of the few battle simulator games that ACTUALLY lets you place down insane amounts of units with great optimization. There are a decent amount of factions to choose from, and despite there only being 5 maps, I still enjoy this game. The units are all different enough to feel fresh, and some of them are genuinely cool, such as the oak tree or the demon lord. I am quite sad that this game is abandoned, and I also find it pathetic how the developer was "Alright, the game has workshop, do my work for me", and went off to create something else, though the game itself is fine if you want a few hours of entertainment. Knowing myself, I will enjoy this game for a decent bit, as I enjoyed games like TABS and battle simulators in general. This game surprisingly does some things BETTER than TABS, such as insane unit placements, though tabs is a more polished and well-made game overall. In my opinion, if you played TABS and are disappointed at how little units you can place down without lagging in that game, I HIGHLY recommend this one. Personally, I created battles with over 100k+ people, and I still ran a decent framerate for how many troops there were. The only issue is that its not being updated, so it could get pretty old for some people. I would say that if you like battle simulators and are fine with no updates, get the game full price, though I got it on a sale and I am happy with it.
