Ephemeral Night

My friend who I play Counter Strike with said if I post a review on Ephemeral Night and it gets 100likes and 20 Awards that he will buy me a RTX 4060. So im just gonna leave this here. Help me bro

"Ephemeral Night" is more of a tech demo than a real game. The "developer" got a basic Unreal shooter blueprint and mucked around with it for a while to create some basic skill tests shooting blobs and stuff. What's the point of releasing something this barebones and unpolished onto Steam? It doesn't help gamers or push the envelope in terms of the gaming industry. Just because a project compiles doesn't mean it's time to grab your wallet and pay $100 to dump the result on Steam Direct. This isn't a product with any value for gamers. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this don't understand that. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game... if it can be called a game, which is really the problem. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
