Top tier + W content But its really in a bad need for optimization .. for such a game with simple art styles .. shaders should have never taken that long neither FPS drops that bad when encountering large bases and builds
Only buy on sale and only if you are really into base building. The game relies on combat to progress, but the combat just isn't that good; read very frustrating. The world and exploration are good. Enjoyment drops off quickly around lvl 14 or so. You can customize the game and completely nerf the enemies so there is that. 5/10
The bones of a good game, reminds me greatly of New World but co-op centric. Came back to this years later and it still has the same bugs and almost begs you to cheese every fight and progression unlock since the "legitimate" methods are so soul destroyingly boring and punishing. Having your own builds and ideas is punished. It is hard to believe this is going "1.0" later this year, adding more content should be the last of their conerns.
A damn good hack n slash game with great base building as well.
hayatımda oynadıgım en guzel oyunlardan
It's whatever. The world is a checklist that'd put modern Ubisoft titles to shame. Very clunky. The menus are awful to traverse. There's just too many titles that do this kind of gameplay better for you to be playing this, unless you're REALLY pining after temu Valheim with a generous sprinkling of BotW.
Currently I'm on the fence of disliking and enjoying it. Game looks beautiful, combat is trivial so far, exploring is nice, and the building is amazing. The beginning like most games of this genre is tedious and slow. BUT, some situations I've been in trying to reach a quest area have about given me an aneurysm. One thing I do HATE is the movement feeling like I'm sliding on ice running down hill or if I try to abruptly stop mid sprint even on flat surfaces, which has gotten me killed multiple times by falling off a cliff. It feels like Fable 2 when you try to turn around when sprinting lmao. I'll definitely keep playing and hopefully push to a point where I start enjoying it like everyone else that's hyped the game up.
The devs really need to hire a UI designer, we are facing something that is from another age. Many things are not or badly explained, the most basic action you wanna make, you have to click like 5 or 8 times in menus... And, the combats feel a bit off, they would need a bit of a rework for sure, and some animations of ennemis are unclear. You gotta let few hours in, until its becoming okayish and get used to this gameplay style. The graphics are good looking tho. But overall, I cannot recommand this, too many things that shouldnt be like that in a modern game
