even at lower difficulties and with the right gear its just a constant enemy spam and the combat isnt good its not fun its not even really a survival game its a more linear then advertised yeah big map but it doesnt matter when you cant enter most the map until you do a bunch of main story quests and level up so the game keeps you in a linear spot another thing is the enemies scale but faster then you can get stronger so you never ever feel like youre getting stronger its just a bunch of chores over and over i do not reccomend
I wish there was a Meh option. it ok nothing special. if you don't like games that don't have crafting from chest defiantly skip this game as 1/4 of you time will be spent digging through chests to find stuff for crafting.
the building is awesome, the enemies are repetitive and boring, the zones are empty areas with some mobs there and here, the boses are undertuned or overtuned (im talking about the dragon specifically) there are still annoying glitches and bugs but at least there are a lot of improvization , the itemization and skill tree is there but yeah like that is not that deep, just go warrior and done but on the other hand you need to respec completly just for an specific boss or miniboss (says a lot of bad mechanics/classes) i give up i really wanted to unlock all archieves but again some archivements are bug to
This review is a long time coming. I have owned Enshrouded for quite a while, but repeated attempts to get into it failed. I'd play the game for a few hours over the course of a couple of days and then just put it aside to go play other games. Which doesn't really merit a steam thumbs up recommendation, but I didn't dislike it enough to say thumbs down either. Early Access being Early Access, the game has evolved between each of my attempts to get into it and here we are at a point where the game is finally in a state that I am enjoying it enough to keep playing. With that said, my recommendation is only luke warm. The game is solid; the building in particular is phenomenal, the skill tree is quite engaging and the combat is finally at a state where I find it enjoyable due in large part to the recent addition of special attacks for each weapon type. So why I only luke warm? Because there are still a few things that I am not a fan of. The shroud, in particular, is quite annoying to me. It's a visually gorgeous game, but then you have these massive shroud-covered areas where you cannot see a dam thing. Fortunately there's a mod for that; I am using a mod that cuts the shroud effect, set to reduce the shroud thickness to 85% of its normal value. That 15% is a small value, but it's huge in terms of making the game better, imo. Beyond that, Enshrouded is a fairly typical action rpg with a lot to explore and discover, decent enough gear itemization, a gem system for upgrading said gear, an engaging skill tree with a good variety of different builds that are viable and one of the best build/construction systems I have ever engaged with. Worth a purchase at this point, particularly given that the 1.0 release is coming very soon and the price is going to go up.
2026 - this game is even worse...
Performance is bad

Top tier + W content But its really in a bad need for optimization .. for such a game with simple art styles .. shaders should have never taken that long neither FPS drops that bad when encountering large bases and builds
Несколько раз проходил и каждый раз возвращаюсь на глобальных обновлениях
