Endless Ascent

The game idea is good but the game has lots of problems, the first level is too hard and without hints it's not fun to play

The developer of this game has now discontinued this game and the game will only ever sit at 10 levels. At the current state of the game, there are only 10 levels with 20 levels being locked behind old versions (Use Steam Depot to access them). I'm not really a fan of any new levels besides the new boss, which is a million times better than the old boss which was just RNG based. The new levels no longer have the charm of the old levels and new levels feel really really messy and just hatch of ideas. I wouldn't really be complaining if this was just a puzzle game with different elements but this is meant to a narrative type game and it feels like the developer didn't really have a plan to stick with. If this game is still up for money, you should probably buy something else and if it's free, I guess it's fine weekend game to play.

The game itself is okay for what it's trying to be, a simple escape room type game inspired by DVloper's Granny Trilogy.

This very good project is officially discontinued and there will be no new levels. It's a shame.
