Empress Of The Deep - квест-приключение от разработчика Gogii Games, изданное небезызвестной канадской студией Strategy First.
๑۩۩๑ ГЕЙМПЛЕЙ ๑۩۩๑ Игровой процесс в Empress Of The Deep выстроен по принципу очередного классического квеста с элементами point and click и внезапными головоломками.
Genre
Ein kurzes Hidden Object Adventure
Story

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow third group
gizli nesne bulmaca oyunu oynanış ve hikaye bakımından baya kötü herşey sizi yavaşlatmak üstüne kurulmuş
Ummmmm... I am not sure who this game is for exactly... I can't say it's for H.O.G. enthusiasts, because the game is rather... Easy. How do you find items? They just lay in front of you. With a sparkle. How do you get "Area Complete"? Depends... Sometimes you just gotta walk through the door... That's a real doozy right there! And most of the time it's just that: click on one item? DONE! GOOD JOB! WHEE! I would say kids... But some puzzles require attention span for over 2 minutes... So nope. Babies? They would just smash the equipment or try to eat it. Maybe for a REALLY bored person...? Nah... Not that either. I have no qualms with older games, but this one feels really off... The scenes are really pretty and fine if there is no map teleport... But jeez...! I didn't want to complete the game. I kinda wanted to see where the story was going... (Note: if your character or someone else is talking... You gotta WAIT... Through the entire SPEECH... So if you are a fast reader? Buckle up!) Everything else however...? I felt like I had no motive... Oh and ahem... If you are stuck on a puzzle? -> There is NO SKIP... Yep. Good luck? Maybe next time... It will be a different experience...?
UNIQUE GAMEPLAY AND A FANTASTIC TRILOGY STORYLINE! 🔱
Empress of the Deep was one of the first HOPAs I played nearly 15 years ago, and it drew me in hook, line, and sinker. Since then, I have played thousands of HOPAs, but they rarely have that unique creative spark responsible for my gaming addiction! I decided to replay the Empress of the Deep trilogy, and surprisingly, the graphics weren't as visually appealing, and it wasn't as difficult as I had remembered, but the storyline still blows me away after all these years!
UNIQUE STORYLINE:
Anna awakens to the sound of a strange man's voice telling her that it's time for her to awaken and Seek The Truth. Anna can't remember who she is or how she ended up inside a sarcophagus for nearly a century, so for now, she has no choice but to trust this man named Jacob, who claims to be her friend. With Jacob's help, Anna unlocks the door leading to a magnificent underwater city, crumbling in a century's worth of decay. As she progresses through the corridors of this unfamiliar city, a purple orb catches her eye...and catches the attention of a young girl who is delighted that Anna is finally awake. This voice, too, is unfamiliar to Anna, but she's just a child; how could she not be trusted? The young girl pleads with Anna to find and activate all of the Purple Orbs, claiming it will reveal Anna's past. Unfortunately, this newfound friendship soon becomes a tenuous relationship as the girl begins to sow the seeds of doubt about Jacob's motives. As Anna progresses through the twists and turns of this underwater oasis to seek the truth, she uncovers the deepest of all family secrets. Just when you think you have figured out the plot, the developers spin you on an entirely different course you didn't see coming, and each game in the series ends with a... "To Be Continued" message to keep you on the edge of your seat!
UNIQUE GAMEPLAY FEATURES
This adventure basically has you traveling along a single path through the underwater city by clicking on directional arrows. The paths eventually branch off into several different directions, and towards the end of the game, it can be challenging to remember which path leads where. There is a Map, but it just shows you where you are currently located in the city. Each area of interest is pinned on the map with a Star and shows a small picture reference of the area when you scan the mouse over the star. I found one feature invaluable in Empress of the Deep; once you complete all available tasks in a location, a star will appear on the upper left of the screen saying "area complete." Some areas just have a single inventory item to find, while others may have a HOS, puzzle, or task to complete.
UNIQUE MINI-GAMES
What I like the most about the mini-game puzzles is that you have to find clues before they can be solved; some may even require piecing together several clues to solve them. This "adventure" aspect of wandering from scene to scene and piecing together clues has all but disappeared in current cookie-cutter HOPAs, which makes this game much more enjoyable. Mini-games can be skipped, but it will first broadly explain what you are supposed to do to solve the puzzle. After this brief explanation by Anna, you can skip the mini-game by clicking the button a second time. FYI: The puzzles, as well as the tasks, can be a bit tricky because they do require exact placement. For example, when placing the statue's Eyes, they specifically require placing the Left and Right eyes, respectively. On the first puzzle, I couldn't get the door to open even though I had correctly placed all four levers. I double-checked the Clue I had found in my Journal, and I even resorted to a walkthrough online, to no avail because I had placed all four levers correctly. It turned out that I was not adjusting the third lever to the right because it was already in the correct position when the puzzle opened. Once I moved this lever to the left and back to the right, Ta-dah! Open Sesame 🚪
OLD-SCHOOL HIDDEN OBJECT SCENES
Keep in mind that this game was released in 2010. This game is 15 years old, so naturally, the graphics tend to be slightly blurry, and some of the scenes are located in darker locations. This makes some items difficult, but not impossible, to find...but there's always the readily available Hint Button if need be. One of my favorite HO scenes was an underwater scene that required you to find a reference clue in order to translate the scientific names.
COLLECTIBLE ORBS AND FLOWERS
Jacob will give you various tasks, such as finding the Family Crest. As you complete these tasks, you will collect 10 different Flowers. The flowers are automatically added to your Journal after completing each task, so you aren't really "collecting" them. The young girl who speaks with you will ask that you "collect" and activate 16 Purple Orbs that are strategically located throughout the city. As I stated above, her motives aren't clear. Nonetheless, you will activate the Orbs and hope her motives are benevolent.
EMPRESS OF THE DEEP CONCLUSION
This Trilogy is often overlooked by HOPA fans, mainly because of its age and lack of superb graphics. If you can overlook the dated graphics, you will be pleasantly surprised with how enjoyable the gameplay is, but mostly, you're going to love the story. Each game in the trilogy picks up where the previous game left off, and each game has a different plot twist to keep you guessing. Give them all a try, you'll be glad you did! Tohle by tu dnes melo byt spis zadarmo.
I still love this game. Its not very long and kinda simple but still somehow always worth replaying it. The story is ok and all in one a very nice short trip. I can highly recommend this game
So, I played this game as a kid on my iPad Mini. You can definitely tell this was made to be a mobile game. Out of nostalgia (and a bit of boredom), I've been playing my favorite HO games when not doing work. Despite being the newest of the games I've played (this and the first two House of 1000 Doors games), this is the lowest quality and does not have a widescreen ability. It also makes it very difficult to leave the game. I played it collectively for maybe two or three hours before finishing. The HO scenes are sometimes nonsensical as well.
Reviewing an old game like Empress Of The Deep seems pointless, especially since it didn’t age well. Regardless, I can’t recommend it. Not because it’s too dated but because it’s not a good game, even measured by modest HOG standards. The partially animated 3D scenes and the voice acting were intended to juice things up, once upon a time, and are probably still the strongest suite of the game. However, both are ruined by a nonsensical story, and found myself relieved when it concluded quickly. The Hidden Objects scenes suffer from blurriness (thanks to the low resolution) and are not very enjoyable. There are no achievements. You can use the hints button to your heart’s content. Scenes will tell you if there’s still something to do or not. There are a lot of classic puzzles we have seen elsewhere like the Eight Queens problem, or Lights Out/On, and those are somewhat difficult puzzles. Of course, these are solved problems and you can look them up but I am not convinced that the audience of a 2.5-hour game that is otherwise rather simplistic wants to feel dumb when they get stuck on these puzzles. Most of the other non-standard puzzles aren't memorably and easy. All in all, boring. 1/5
