About
Empire of Zombies: Become the CEO of the Apocalypse! 🧟♂️💼
Empire of Zombies is a dark fantasy idle game where you prove that death isn’t a career dead-end—it’s just the start of your grand expansion! Build your empire, lead an army of stiffs, and show the living that their time (and their pulse) has officially expired.
Raise the Dead. Conquer the Living. Don't be afraid to rot!
Start small—with a handful of corpses tripping over their own feet—and grow them into an unstoppable corporate machine of darkness. Harvest gold, iron, and coal (because even the undead need resources; you can’t live on brains alone!). Train skeleton warriors, zombie hounds, and banshees, eventually leveling up to the heavy hitters to unleash true legends of the dark.
What awaits you in this joyful graveyard?
🏰 Extreme Tourism — Conquer human kingdoms, elven forests, barbarian lands, and orc ruins. Leave behind nothing but ashes and great memories (and a lot of graves).
⚔️ 15+ Units with Personality — From your average Joe Skeleton to devastating Doom Bringers and Lich Kings. There’s a recruit for every taste!
🔨 Dark Real Estate Developer — Construct the properties every dead agent dreams of: the Dark Forge, Soul Well, and Bone Factory.
🔄 Prestige System (Reincarnation for Pros) — Reset your progress to come back even stronger, meaner, and... deader.
🏆 Achievements & Daily Quests — Because nothing cheers you up after a hard day of world domination like free rewards for your daily chaos.
🔥 Hell Realm — Visit the special challenge realm for unique loot. It’s hot, but the vibe is unmatched!
💀 Make Bank While You Sleep — Your army works 24/7, even while you’re catching some Z’s. Now that’s what we call passive income from the apocalypse!

Hardly any game here. Assign workers to collect materials Summon undead to attack Prestige if you get enough kills Only works on higher resolution screens There is no challenge. There is almost no progression even after 10 hours The so called automation is a joke unless turned on before you close the game Try something else which has any depth to it Seriously if after 10 hours if there is nothing new to show why bother.
I would say it's not bad. It doesn't require a lot of attention, so it's good to play in between other activities. The graphics look nice and consistent. Beginning is very slow, you really need quite a few hours to achieve anything. But after unlocking the second unit, game pace and fun increase a lot.
Chill and relaxing idle game - I recommend it
Absolute addiction potential! I’ve put 202 hours into this game, and I can’t stop. If you are looking for a true challenge in the semi-idle genre, you have found it. The grind feels incredibly rewarding because the balancing is absolutely on point. The game offers an amazing sense of progression—especially once you unlock advanced buildings like the 'Dark Forge'. From raising simple skeletons to commanding legendary Lich Kings, this game has everything a Necromancer’s heart desires. It is insanely satisfying to watch your undead army raze entire kingdoms to the ground. The graphics are atmospheric, the upgrades are extremely motivating, and the prestige system is perfectly executed. A must-buy for every fan of Dark Fantasy and incremental games! Big thanks to the dev team – you've ruined my sleep schedule, and I've never been happier. Amazing work!
Empire of Zombies is surprisingly addictive! The mechanics are super interesting and keep you engaged for hours. For this price, it’s an absolute steal. Highly recommended if you love idle games
"If you’ve ever wanted to stop being the hero and start being the one raising the graveyard, Empire of Zombies is a fantastic find. It’s a dark fantasy idle clicker that quickly evolves from a simple screen-tapper into a satisfying management game. What I liked: The Theme: The dark fantasy atmosphere is spot on. Building your own Necropolis and watching your undead army grow from a few clumsy skeletons into a massive horde is very rewarding. Progression: Unlike some idle games that feel stagnant, this one has a great flow. Once you unlock your second and third unit types, the pace picks up significantly. Addictive Gameplay: It’s one of those 'just five more minutes' games. It doesn't require 100% of your attention, making it a perfect companion to play while watching a movie or working. Value for Money: For its price, it offers a lot of hours of entertainment. It’s a 'steal' in the best possible way. Summary: The graphics are consistent and moody, and the mechanics are deeper than they first appear. If you enjoy idle games with a dark twist and want to feel like a powerful lich conquering human and elven kingdoms, definitely give this one a try. It’s simple, polished, and very hard to put down!"
As of the moment of writing this, the game is completely unbalanced. It's *insanely* grindy. You get too few points per run, and the points make too little difference, for the time you're spending. It has some cool ideas, but they're executed in such a time-wasting manner that it negates any fun you would be having. It doesn't feel like the devs thought about the scaling, as the game starts off ok, but any rewards that would be meaningful for the first few levels, are entirely meaningless later on. By the time you get to realm 2, upgrades stop having any meaning, as you get like 1% difference from the previous level. This would be solved if the upgrades worked exponentially, but they don't, they're percent-based, or flat values. Also, there's a ton of manual activity where there doesn't have to be any. Generally in idle games, you're meant to do some tedious stuff manually, but after a while you unlock some automation and no longer have to do them. Well, at least up to realm 2, this isn't the case here. There are *some*, but they are either slow or costly, or auto-turn themselves off, so you can't leave the game running. I would advise the devs to play some idle games and follow their way of thinking, if they honestly want to make a proper game out of this.
Game desperately needs a graphics or interface options menu so that resolution can be adjusted and it can be played on smaller screens. As stands cannot recommend.
A sloooow game but i dig it!
