About
Meet Elgvis, a rockabilly moose from Norway with a slick quiff, a big heart, and an even bigger urge to explore! Join him on a colorful and silly 3D platforming journey filled with wacky worlds, strange characters, and classic collectathon charm inspired by the N64 era.
Search every corner to gather all 100 Golden Antlers, unlock new areas, and uncover hidden secrets across forests, snowy peaks, spooky places, weird dimensions, and more. Every world brings its own personality, humor, and bizarre surprises.
Elgvis is a simple, cozy, and fun 3D platformer made for players who miss the charm and style of games like Banjo-Kazooie, Spyro the Dragon, and Super Mario 64.
Elgvis and his girlfriend are planning a sweet motorcycle road trip — all the way to the Swedish border to buy cheap candy.
But first, Elgvis needs to meet her at her house so they can start the journey together.
There’s just one problem:
The evil king, Sir Growls Alot, has blocked every world with giant paywalls, trapping the path between Elgvis and the love of his life.
Now Elgvis must travel through a series of wacky worlds, collect Golden Antlers, and tear down the paywalls one by one — all to reunite with his girlfriend and finally get that cheap Swedish candy.

Collectable Collectathons curator review: 2/10. A collectathon / Retro 3D platformer that harkens back to Mario 64 or PS1 Spyro, but so unpolished as to not really be playable. I’d love to be more positive than that because making a full 3D game is an insane amount of work and I’m sure plenty of time was put into this. But the current package just has too many flaws. It’s not all negative. I actually like the level design pretty well, with multiple paths through bite-sized levels and little mildly hidden bits. And there’s even some surprising and clever bits such as a level that takes place in a soup oven. Of course it goes without saying that the actual visual presentation is extremely simplistic, but that’s not really out of place given the retro leanings of the game. I would have enjoyed seeing the rest of the levels. There are two huge flaws though. The first is that the player physics is not very good. In a 3D platformer you can’t really cheap out on this. The player feels very floaty, making precision jumping hard. And although the game supports double jump, strangely some of the time you don’t get the second jump. Now, writing a good player controller is hard. But you don’t have to, there exist numerous cheap or even free ones that do better. The other unforgivable flaw, especially in light of the poor controls, is that it’s far too easy to die. Death just means being warped back to the beginning which I think would be a reasonable penalty, if it weren’t so easy to die. And if the controls were a lot tighter then this might at least appeal to people who enjoy the challenge. But given that the biggest pleasure in playing the game is getting to see the different bits of level design I don’t have any desire to have to fight the bad controls and replay sections a lot. In contrast to the character player controller physics, this aspect of the game could easily be tweaked to be better. None of the games this is trying to remind us of featured one-touch death. There are other smaller criticisms to be sure but I don’t think they matter given the two previous ones. To be sure the graphic presentation is very weak. However if the gameplay was better I think many people could overlook that. And there were some weird bugs, but nothing too catastrophic. My final recommendation is that this is not really worth purchasing. If the dev were to fix some of the issues above then maybe. Honestly I think that at this point the best choice would be to make the game free, or at least $1 so that at least some people would try it, and maybe even enjoy it. Here is my personal message to the dev: no one is doubting that you put a lot of effort into this, but there remains so much to do to make it a fully polished game. Reducing the difficulty and making the game free would be two easy wins that would at least get more people to try your game and that would be something. As it stands I have to imagine that most if not all the people who would buy this would just choose to refund in its current state.
