It's a good game. Sadly it's completely dead (both playerbase and updates) so there's very little reason to invest time, and especially money, in it. Hence why I give it a negative review.

It might have been fun at some point but it is a ghost game now. I played for four hours and never saw another person. Asked several questions in world chat and never got any response.

This game is actually really fun and good. I’ve tried a few MMORPGs before and always ended up quitting, but Eldevin has something that kept me playing. Anyway, I’m going back in. :) "Do you recommend this game?" Yes 👍
It's free, but an MMO and evidently dead, which means you will have difficulties finding groups. Very reminiscent of old RuneScape, and I don't mean OSRS, but the actual feeling of playing a browser game 15 years ago. This is what gaming used to be like, and it's a whole vibe.
I'm not an mmo person but enjoyed it a lot initially, though a good chunk of runtime was obviously idling because it's not only an mmo, it's f2p, so the usual stipulations apply. liked the simple graphics, some of the music is great, has all sorts of stuff to do and the very small community was mostly friendly (back in 2015 when I played), but the fact that anything, deer and such included, a single level above you is untouchable and will kill you in one hit is ridiculous. what's neat though is mobs, deer or otherwise, several levels below you will leave you alone, so won't have to deal with trash mobs in a low-level area. the clue's in the name of the genre but it became un-soloable pretty fast and even with a bit of help, I had to stop playing because making progress was impossible. would've needed more people at all times because I wanted to play and see the rest, not chat all day. and it's not just the looks but the entire ui is ancient, which might appeal to old-school mmo people or masochists. I'm more surprised by the game still being around than by the lack of updates even a decade ago but it's still not something to recommend. the same thing as a single player game, balanced as such with no respawns and other mmo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, priced at $10 is something I could get behind though.
Best Game of them ALLLLL! yes its a bit old but very very very GOOD for an old online game! PLAYERS NEED TO COME BACK OR NEW GAMERS SHOULD GIVE THIS ONE A TRY! THIS GAME IS SIIIIIIIIIIIIICK! hope it stays up and running for LOOONG time
Es un gran juego, sinceramente lo recomiendo, aunque de ser posible juegalo con otros ya que es un poco complicado al principio, vale la pena completamente.
I played this game many years ago and got to a high level. When I recently saw it was on Steam nostalgia hit me hard. I enjoy Eldevin a lot so decided to start fresh. It's very retro in it's graphics and reminds me somewhat of the old original browser version of Runescape. It's a slow progression game with lots of combat, crafting and exploration. I only saw 3 people while I was playing so the player base is tiny compared to years ago. It's no longer being updated but has enough content to keep you busy a very long time.
